You will not get a prompt. Unless the public release version is a different build compared to the gm. I believe this has only happened once before. Don't quote me on that.
The GM is the public release so you won't get a prompt. Any time there's a build number change between what you're running and what's released you'll be able to update.

Looks like it's a new build number. 13A5344 vs 13A341.
and App Store still screwed up. Shows 12 updates, but the 12 apps don't have update button, only "OPEN". Wont allow me to update the apps.
Yesterday I had issues all day where if I clicked "update" nothing happened...it just started the process then reverted back to update
