General iOS 9.0 GM Bug Fixes And Changes

yes updating now. The GM had major bugs, hopefully these are being fixed with update. The App Store has been wonky for 2 days, not allowing updates or showing apps that need to be updated as installed.

You will not get a prompt. Unless the public release version is a different build compared to the gm. I believe this has only happened once before. Don't quote me on that.

The GM is the public release so you won't get a prompt. Any time there's a build number change between what you're running and what's released you'll be able to update.

Either way, you can OTA to it so it remains a non-issue. In the past, they've released a new GM to developers only and that's where the issue was for non-developers who loaded the GM.

and App Store still screwed up. Shows 12 updates, but the 12 apps don't have update button, only "OPEN". Wont allow me to update the apps.

Yesterday I had issues all day where if I clicked "update" nothing happened...it just started the process then reverted back to update

Probably because Apple's servers are overloaded and considering there are lots of updates on the way

Maybe they actually turned on "Metal" support. Not nearly as smooth as I hoped or they advertised.

APP STORE is broken for me. It shows update, them immediately switches to OPEN. Cant download updates

I've found a bug where if I close all apps before powering off my phone, when I turn it back on I find Safari, Twitter and Settings in the Multitasking. This happens every time. Anyone else had same?

When someone text me will appear notification and should appear sender name but I get phone number instead. If open iMessage sender name there fine in thread. It seem happen more sms than iMessage from iPhone. Anyone have this??
