Has anyone seen if you are able to download this beta for the new 6s?
Yup and it's BLAZING fast. I did a restore from my 6 Plus, btw. Im completely amazed right now. Battery has been slightly better, too. I did briefly use the phone in 9.0 (or 9.01, whatever came stock) and there is a very noticeable difference in performance.

Only minor annoyance is there's still a delay with bringing control center up.

Excellent thanks for your successful reply, I'm unable to get macbook -'see' iPhone 6' via airdrop (ElCapitan GM)

Do you have wifi and Bluetooth turned on on the MBPro?

It's working for me, but I had to activate the Airport on the MBPro

Not sure if this is a bug but my music (on the iPhone Music Library) keeps pausing and stopping itself. Never happened before on any other iOS versions. Anyone having the same problem?

Its not my songs as they have been working fine for the past 2 years

This has happened to me lots. Or, it'll be playing a song and then just switch to the next one even though the previous song hadn't reached the end.

Yes Bluetooth and wifi are always on

Airdrop was working with Mavericks/Yosemite..stopped working with El Capitan...interesting as I can make and receive calls, bluetooth hotspot works-though I don't use it, I can use find my phone via macbook-which points my iPhone accurately whilst at home.

What do you mean "I had to activate the Airpot on mcbpro' -ive been using aes for years with no probs.

Really? My 6+ runs very smoothly on the latest beta. The only issue I have seen is a Bluetooth headset answering problem. The phone is running far far better than iOS 9 or 9.01 and battery life seems improved as well.

On my phone it's exactly the same like 9.0.1 regarding lags and stutter. Not worse, not better.

I've upgraded my 6+ to iOS 9.1 beta 2. Same stutter, same lag. Don't believe the hype.
I dunno why that's happening to yours but after reading through the comments last night in this thread, I became convinced to try it on my 6+. Thus far, it's noticeably more responsive then 9.0/9.0.1. Tbh, it feels as fast IF NOT faster than 8.4.1. And no, this is not a placebo effect that I'm experiencing. The responses to touch are quick couoled with no hesitation after selecting an app to open. I'm thoroughly surprised that this beta performanc wise, is hands down better than 9.0.1. Battery life improvement is tbd. Cannot wait to see what the official 9.1 will be like.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound like I'm calling you a liar, but I'll believe it when I see a stutter-free app switcher. ;)

I do see slight stuttering in the app switcher carousel. Despite that, I wouldn't go out and label the entire 9.1 experience as laggy or slow. Everything else is better. This app switcher is more resource intensive when compared to iOS 8's switcher so give it some time for them to refine it.

And no, I will not blow smoke about a product, hardware or software. I wouldn't take the time to reply to you with my experience, if I genuinely didn't see significant improvements on my 6+.

Yep. Same with spotlight lag. Those are the only two issues I have on my iOS devices. Even on the Air 2.

That's pretty much my only problems with iOS 9 as well, runs pretty damn well for a .0 release.
Oh yeah and the Siri waking up, don't tell me you don't wake up Siri few times a day by accident when trying to unlock your phone.:)

I've discovered something about Notes. Plug your iPhone into your computer, log into iCloud, change or update a note: A new one is added instead of just updating the note that is already there. It used to be that it would update the note and not add duplicates. Totally idiotic.

This has been the case since iOS7 if I remember correctly. You don't need to plug your iPhone into the computer to replicate this either. It's very strange and if your internet connection is slow you are left with two notes for a short while.

I've never encountered this until OS 9.

That's interesting as I have definetly without a doubt experienced it pre-iOS9.

I also find that the second note isn't always visible and it seems that the original note is updated at times.

I do agree that it seems 'idiotic' however I'm sure there is a reason why this is the process.

Both notes appear on iCloud, 5 and 5s. Update it more than once and the updates don't even show up in the note which means you have to do it on the iPhone itself or leave it in its original form.

The lack of audible alerts for some notifications is a bit of a deal breaker for me and this beta, sadly.
This happens with iOS 9.0 as well for some. Hopefully they'll get it sorted out in an upcoming update. I recall some similar type of issues with iOS 8.0 and/or 7.0.

Try scrolling in Settings with a 5 and a 5S. The 5 is noticeably smoother than the 5S. Weird.

I didn't have this issue with my iOS9.1 iPhone, but I've encountered it today with my iPad mini 2 running iOS9.0.1...
