iOS 9.1 Beta 3 Changes, Fixes & Bugs

iOS 9.1 Beta 3 has been released. Build number is 13B5130b.

As always, be sure to report any and all bugs to bugreport.apple.com (Login with your Apple ID very easy).

Add more details for your bug report additional-information (Optional).


Changes
  • New wallpapers, including Jupiter from iPad Pro.
  • "My Music" in the Music App has been moved to the far left. (not exclusive to beta, just happens when Apple Music subscription ends.)

Bug fixes
  • Quick Reply from Lockscreen no longer leaves black keyboard outline
  • Proactive status bar overlay fixed
  • Fixes "zoomed" issue on iPhone 6S (where Wallet, Weather appear "zoomed" after restoring from a 5S backup)
  • "Open in" button when opening PowerPoint files in Safari is back.(I'm guessing keynote works too?)
Bugs
  • Setting bug is still present
  • Animation missing when going out of edit view in Messages (present even in iOS 8)
  • 3D-Touch on homescreen has a latency in Light and Medium setting (no latency in Firm setting) - (occurs on 6S Plus models only ????)
  • Some uninstalled apps still retain their space occupation even after multiple iTunes sync attempts. And settings "manage storage" has those phantom apps stayed there, with "0 bytes documents and data". However, iTunes shows that those apps may have been removed.

Phone is just about done updating. Ill report if the Quick Reply from Lockscreen bug is fixed


edit: The bug for lockscreen quick reply is indeed fixed
 
Bug where settings opens scrolled down a ways is still not fixed if anyone is curious.
 
Does it fix the Settings jump bug?
Can we scroll through photos on the iCloud Drive app?

So much fascination about the trivial Settings glitch. It's kind of interesting how it's one of the bigger more frequent questions that comes up, yet it's pretty much the least severe (for lack of a better word) glitches of them all.

The "Synchronized" option for the Taptic engine is not availble in Beta 3. I have tried a downgrade to Beta 2 but the TapticEngine feedback is gone. :(

Trying a complete restore now.

I've never even had that option even on 9.0.X. Strange.
 
They finally fixed the "manage storage" iCloud settings page. The words used to all overlap each other and stuff. Ill upload a screenshot for those who don't know what I am talking about

Enough with this ******** excuse. UI and UX matters most to most people. This is a very eye-soaring issue because it is visible every time. Go back to the older iOS versions (before 7). Remember such a UI glitch that went unfixed for so long? Not even the betas had such issues. The lack of polish in newer versions by Apple is just shameful.

It's a bug everyones sees multiple times a day. You forget about it but then get reminded every time you open settings. No major bug but very visual.

I get that it's noticeable, but that's really all that it is, there's nothing more to it aside from annoyance of noticing it that some people might have (out of the ones that even notice it). It doesn't excuse anything, just an observation about it.
