I don't feel a change in latency.It does appear they increased the latency for when the phone unlocks with touch ID.
Will be interested to see if the inconsistent notification behaviour is still present in this beta.

Control Center lag is still present. At this point, I don't think it's going to be fixed in iOS 9.1
They might as well just add Control Center Lag to the change log as a feature when they release the final version
