9to5mac reports " Thus far there haven’t been a whole lot of changes in the new build, though some users are reporting much better performance over the GM build of iOS 9"

Curious as to why this is...

Fully agree with 9to5mac. I found GM laggy and unpolished. I updated to 9.1 and now it feels perfect. Much faster animations.

I was on the last PB for a day and it seemed nice, GM sounded like a regression so installing 9.1 PB now. Hopefully that was a good decision.

Has not shown up for me yet. I am on Public Beta and did not manually download GM. Do you need to do this to receive 9.1 Beta OTA?
Re-download the beta profile from the apple beta website. Worked for me...

My question is how easy is it to move from Public Beta of 9.1 to the public release of the official 9.0 on the 16th?
I imagine it'll work like this:

1. Backup iPad
2. Un-enroll from beta programme
3. Restore on 9.0
4. Restore from backup

Or something like that?

Coming from 8.4.1 and wanting to get into 9.0 GM...Now hearing 9.1 is a better performer. Since I have installed anything yet what is best path to 9.1?

Guys, i'm running iOS 9 Beta 5 and not seeing the 9.1 update when going to Settings>General>Software Update.

Any ideas why I'm not seeing it?

Thanks

Thanks, it seems the beta profile got corrupted or just deleted itself. Re-downloading it providing me with the available 9.1 OTA instantly.

So...coming from 8.4.1, grab the PB 9.0 then I should see OTA for 9.1? I downloaded the GM IPSW but sounds like that wouldn't prompt 9.1 install, right?
