Just updated from pb5 to 9.1pb1 and so far running like greased lightning on my 5. My 9.0pb5 was having a major freak out earlier tonight so I'm glad I was able to update. Too soon for battery stats and too see if the weird rotation issue I had on pb5 is fixed but so far no lag or stutter

Do you think we will be able to remove the beta profile to get developer releases like on the 9.0 beta?

Seems like there's a good possibility of that. Remains to be seen though. (Plus, given that they released PB 1 right along with DP 1, it's possible they might have a PB for every DP which means it might not even be necessary to do that.)

Thanks!

I'm debating whether I should wait for the official 9.0 release next week or go to the 9.1 update today. My iCloud backups are borked.
I was in the same boat...decided to go with 9.1 (at least for now).

I sent with 9.1 right away and for the first time in a while, my nightly backups are running. Prior I would do manual or to the desktop to cover me until I got to a new update. Maybe, if you can, wait until next week and see how the GM does. The 9.1 beta will be available then if you would like to go ahead. No issues with 9.1 at the moment that would keep me from recommending it.

Interesting I just tried Flickr and it worked fine. But there is an update that JUST came up for it. Haven't updated yet but maybe that will solve your issue.

[Edit] Don't update! I did and now it crashes as you mentioned! oops Ver 4.0.5

[Edit 2] Put version 4.0.4 back and it works fine again. Strange the latest version is less compatible.

It only crashes if you turn on access to Photos in Settings (There are two entries for Flickr - you need the second one) . Photos can still be uploaded to Flickr through the Share menu in Photos.

Confused.
My iPad Air2 and iPod touch6 both say 9.1 Your software is up-to-date. (13B5110e).

They do not have the beta in there. Like when it was 9.0 Beta.

Could some of you check to see if it really does say beta 9.1 or just 9.1

It won't say beta. You're on the correct build.

Interesting I did a reset all settings just because haven't since all the iOS 8 versions, (that I remember) and accidently hit update on flickr 4.0.5 again a day or so later and now it works fine. I do have access to photos enabled too.

Wow already notice better stability and smoothness from 9.1.
So glad to be out of 9.0. None of the versions were ever good for me.

Hi there folks, I actually have a technology issue I cannot fix which is a first in many years.

Post updating my 6 Plus to the public beta of iOS 9.1 (so fast and smooth!), Facebook has stopped sending me push notifications and updates on my iPhone like the days of earlier times when notifications on the iPhone had changed back in the day rocking my 4S.

The weirdness begins as my Samsung tablet was also affected but was never touched during the course of learning the latest from Apple... Even with all the madness of completely restoring my iPhone and trying everything option under every menu, nothing works as it once did for either my iPhone 6 Plus, my Mac and OS X Yosemite both fallen silent but oddly my Android based Galaxy Tab 3 was also affected.

A big W T F is in order to try and figure out how or what factor would affect not only my iPhone but my tablet that I haven't touched in days and it remains silent but the numbers keep climbing on the app icons for both platforms. I'm stumped.

I rolled back the firmware on my iPhone to 8.4.1 and have still been trying to find a solution if this is an iOS 9.1 related issue (which I did provide extensive feedback to Apple) about after noticing the odd behavior. What has me completely confused is how or why One OS issue affect another completely different platform and architecture.

Thinking of it being my wifi, I disabled it and ran a entire day with good LTE coverage. The Samsung powered off for a few days and my Mac running to see if anything in OS X would manifest. No such luck...

Any other brave souls out there have such weirdness like this before? Or a possible solution? I stick with Facebook as my family is on there. It's important to me especially when new pictures are shared.

I'm completely confused and feeling like the old days of "babysitting" my old 4S and iOS 7.
