Yep, the frame drops are even worse when there are more overlays. On this video for instance there's Siri and then CC which makes it behave even worse then just on the homescreen.

But we're just imagining things here, iOS 9 is smoothest iOS ever. /s

It's just that noone showed that illusive video yet.
 
Anyone having push issues? I have to go refresh manually in the mail app to get my mails. This wasn't an issue with the previous beta.
 
Control Center is a lagfest when you're not on the home screen. Try using Control Center while on a call and it's as bad as the video above while using Siri.

I honestly don't know wtf Appe is doing anymore, you're telling me a 6S/6S Plus with the almighty A9 and its beast of a GPU can't handle overlay UI at 1080p?! ***** FAIL Apple....

It's even worse on iPhone 6.Quick reply and CC feel like android gingerbread
 
Has anyone noticed that the camera is taking far longer to focus than previous betas?

I'm talking in normal office lighting taking a pic of a serial number of a PC (I'm doing inventory from office to office) and I often will use my camera as a quick and dirty way of inventorying machines in the offices.

So instead of "focus" (zip!) it's like "Ah, you want focus? Let me think. Ah, I think I have it here. Buzzz. Okay, several seconds have passed you are now close. Ah, here you go. Focus."
 
they really need to give us some more options under reduced motion. half of the things it disables with it have nothing to do with MOTION. it makes no sense. i just want to get rid of that horrible fade in and out animation. it does my head in
