I think they'll be a beta 3. When it's released is anybody's guess.

I'm guessing the holidays coming up will slow things down a bit on the beta scene.

I feel like (hoping, at least) that 9.2 is like iOS 7.1. Beta for months. Tons of polishing. iOS 7.1 was in beta from November to March, and look how much people loved that update! It fixed so many problems and smoothed out so much. I think iOS 9.2 needs to be in beta for a similar time, February to March. Then it will be a huge release making iOS 9 butter smooth.

iOS 9.2 isn't for iPad Pro, and there aren't any more products to our knowledge that are creating a deadline for 9.2. It will be out when they feel they are done fixing things up.

Defo beta 3 today. Apple have been pretty quick with betas lately and have been pushing them out weekly. I'm hoping they don't let up on this and keep to this schedule.
Yeah I think weekly betas are pretty good for them. Baby steps, reports along the way to fix issues. Not giant leaps where stuff is missed, and it can't be fixed for another long while.

Those of you in 9.2 beta 2, is it good enough for daily use? I'm on a 6S but always look forward to performance improvements.

I use 9.2 public beta 1 and 2 as a daily driver on my iPhone 6 plus.
So far so good! I had not encountered any major issues.

They better drop beta 3 today. Beta 2 has had horrid battery life and stuttering on Air 2 and 5S.
