They may release it today since the devlopment must have done last week and testing may be ongoing. If its good why not releasing it today for beta. Unlikely 9.2 tho

The public release will be next. Its just a question of this week or next. Beta 4 is a BIG improvement for animations on all devices. Its not perfect but this will be a solid release going into the holidays.

I agree with all of you above, i went from 9.1 to 9.2 beta 4 and I am blown away by how stable, fast, and polished it feels. 6S - Samsung chip here

9.1 destroyed animations on all devices. Even my 6S has frame drops that were not present at all in 9.0

Maybe today if there base in Ireland took over development whilst it's holiday season in us. If not then most likely a full release next week skipping gm.

I agree with those saying 9.2 b4 is quite impressive as it currently is.

9.2 is shaping up to be a great release.

Still worse performance than 8.1.4 even though Apple promised improvements.

Fair enough, but I'm using it on an iPhone 6s and its fast and fluid on the 6s.

Never used iOS "8.1.4" on my 6s (or the 6) :p

And my 6 has 8.4.1 on it :p haha (I'm just messing around, I know what you meant)

It may happen today however if you look at iOS 8 releases last year they skipped the week of Thanksgiving and the week after as well.

I highly doubt this week. Cant remember when they have ever released a beta Thanksgiving week and would make no sense if there is some huge bug with people without their phones for 4 days over a holiday.
