Swipe up CC from lockscreen.Scroll down the list of Apps in Cellular Data.**** ton of lag
1. Swipe up CC is butter 60fps smooth on my 6S Plus. Yes 60fps V-Sync smooth.
2. Apps in Cellular data menu stutters a little but not much to be noticed immediately like CC. But not as much as 5S.

5S is downright disgusting to use at those two places.

Guys. This right here is planned obsolescence at it's finest.

They will leave few quirks here and there just to annoy the f*** out of you.

Okay ..... o_O
6S+ - better overall for smoothness and stuttering. That appears to be the only fix for the issues I had. Still have the email body missing/re-download issue. Copy / Paste text selection in Safari still there. New calendar create from email still a problem. Can't launch next app till animation is done still there.

Mini 3 (LTE) - better overall. It is running a bit faster however ... the stutter / lag in Safari has been replaced with small machine-gun style chop in heavy pages. Still having issues with stock email app. Safari tabs are still having issues (tab labels). Did fix the share via stock email from photo gallery taking way too long.

New issues for both:
  • Have wifi as 2.4ghz / 5ghz as separate id's. They both are having difficulty staying on 5ghz. Keeps dropping it and switching to the 2.4.
  • Getting small rapid stutters on my Mini3 where there were none before
  • On my Mini3 when I use the switch to go from Ringer to Silent, it will at times rapidly flicker back and forth between Ringer - Silent (popup message)
  • On my Mini3 when switching from Silent to Ringer, it will display a Ringer volume level that does not match actual

So .... fixed some things, broke others.
Again. :(

Recommend you use Outlook. It wipes the floor with that stock Mail and Calendar app. Also try out Firefox. Its smoother than Safari
Overall the release is still stuttery as I am seeing random stutters all over the place on my Air 2 as well

On my 6s Plus:

Safari still caches old tab images despite the fact that I may have closed the page minutes or even an hour prior to opening Safari again. This has been happening since iOS 8. It's ridiculous.

Copying doesn't work maybe 20% of the time. I press "copy" from any of the various ways to copy something, then go to paste it somewhere else, and what pastes is a previous copy, not the intended one.

Related to that, selecting text in Safari is still a crapshoot. I'd like to select a single line of text to copy, and the entire page gets selected. Then when you try to move the side cursors, it just jumps all over the place. Pathetic.

In Details in Messages, I've deleted content, then that deleted image's thumbnail becomes the thumbnail for another, completely unrelated piece of media that was right next to it.

When creating Calendar events from Mail, Travel Time from a specific location doesn't work.

In Messages, threads are scrolled up randomly when I go into it. Then they pop back down. It was similar to the formatting issue in Settings that persisted for me until 9.1.

These are just the most egregious ones I encounter on a daily basis. There are others. I've reset and refreshed and deleted time and time again. Nothing fixes these issues for me.
Any fixes for these?

While I would like doing that, my work email / calendar is set to only feed into stock at the moment.
Playing around with alternative browsers.... no decisions yet.

I haven't seen much about this, but is anybody else having Siri troubles after the update? My Siri is not able to do hardly anything after the update. It doesn't recognize my apps, my contact, my location. I've reset it a few times. No luck. Don't know what to do short of starting a clean install. Any ideas?

Can anyone confirm this bug?

I'm running the "old" notes app (without the drawing features) on both devices.
The bug might also exist with the "new" notes app.

Steps:

1. Create a note in iOS 9.2 e.g. containing the word "flabbergasted".

Try a search for this word in the notes app. Note will be found.

2. Edit this note on iCloud.com or on another device. (In my case an iPad mini running iOS 7.x.)
E.g. Change the word to "flabbergasted123".

3. Go back to the first device running iOS 9.2. Wait a minute for the note to update to the edited version from the other device.
Do a search for a word "flabber..." in the notes app.

The note can't be found. No search results.

Can you guys reproduce this problem by any chance?

A new one that seems limited to my Mini3.
We have seen with 9.1 the random 48 hour reinput you password bug. Under 9.2 this appears to have significantly decreased for me (knock on wood). however I am getting a new one that has popped up 3x now since updating to 9.2:
TouchAlertEnable.png
In all cases, I was doing something on my Mini3, closed the app, locked the screen, then reopened it an hour or more later. his has happened just on my Mini3 - haven't seen it on my 6S+.

Touch ID doesnt work 99% of the time like it did before 9.2.... it is still super fast but not working consistently like previous ios versions. Now i have to think to adjust my finger properly like i did on 6/5s.... anyone else that his touch id performance got worse with 9.2?

Anyone having problems with Music and AirPlay since updating to iOS 9.2? Not sure if it's just Music or a systemwide issue but since the update I'm having problems with AirPlay stopping working normally after a track finished or selecting a new track. It doesn't happen all the time but enough to make using AirPlay an unreliable frustrating experience.

It doesn't hard disconnect, it thinks it's still connected to the device (still shows as selected in the AirPlay menu) but there is no audio or metadata updates being sent to the receiver (I've tried several). Disconnecting and reconnecting doesn't work either, you need to disconnect, wait a while and then reconnect before it will start working again.

I had no problems before the 9.2 update. I've only seen this on my iPhone so far, not tested my iPad.

then install iOS 9.1 and test again. iOS 9.1 same problem, then probably your wifi router not good.

I used to have problems with long app download / install times, with some apps never completing the install procedure. This seems to have been fixed in 9.2 for me. My phone is also smoother overall.

Count me happy as to the current state of my iPhone.

The app switcher is so smooth on 6S plus. On 9.1 there was frame drops, on a new device for Peres sakes. 9.2 is very smooth now. Glad I updated.

My only beef with 9.2.1 is the lag on my ipad mini 2 when pulling the search keyboard. Other than that, it's pretty smooth

On my 6S, I no longer can open links in new tabs like I used to. If I slightly touch/hold nothing happens where before it popped up the option to open link/open in new tab/etc. Touch 3D works still and when it pops up I can swipe up to reveal "open in new tab" and other options.

My question - is this a new feature and the only way to open links in new tabs or is my 6S being screwy?

more details, which app you use etc...? Safari app? sometimes has the website a issue, therefore can you not add to new tab.

Safari, yes. On any website (this one included).

In Twitter for instance the soft (what was normal before 3D Touch) still brings up the multitask window (option to print, open in Safari, etc).

9.2 on iPad Air is bad. Animations are sluggish and stuttering which makes the whole iPad feel slow.

Read it on one pf the posts about 9.2 and gestures being an issue.
I have to agree - not that the gestures don't work, rather they seem to be more "sensitive" in some cases and less "sensitive" in others.
Not sure if it is a good thing or just another thing I have to get used to.
