It will probably come sooner than later, but with f.lux already there it's not really something that people have really been wishing and waiting for per se.I think the question is when are we going to see Apple release a night shift feature for Mac? Have they already in the 10.11.4 beta?
Not in the sense that you can just download it without a developer account. Its not like PB, you need to download the profile from the developer account. This beta 1 is OTA
They haven't implemented anything useful otherwise over the years?
It's just screen color temperature adjustment. Please a screenshot of darkmode..
9.3 is a bigger deal. It will be in beta for a couple of months I imagine. I expect 9.2.1 to be released within the next week.Confused O_O we are only on beta 2, of 9.2.1. but allready 9.3 :O
I'm not sure how that relates to what I brought up in my post. In any case though, isn't that more or less the public beta method that has been around for a while? You can now install a new profile to get the new beta OTA. You install it on your iPad, restart, and then check for update.
I don't remember ever seeing this for new point releases

Well these new features are surprising.
Ugh I have no idea how it quoted your post...sorry lol. It was suppose to quote someone else -_-I'm not sure how that relates to what I brought up in my post. In any case thigh, isn't that more or less the public beta method that has been around for a while?
I wonder if the developer profile requires UDID to be registered...
There is no dark mode. Nightshift allows you to adjust the blue/red shift on the screen... They basically built in f.lux (A popular jailbreak tweak)Please a screenshot of darkmode..
Hmm unsure. Haven't tested it out with 8/9.I believe they stopped doing that after iOS 7. I remember installing all the iOS 8 betas with no problem. I don't see why they'd revert back to verifying UDIDs.
I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed when they find out that night shift is not a darker UI
It's just a setting to reduce blue. Edit: apparently there actually is some adjustment in either direction.whoa that's great, do you know if you can adjust the cool or warm screen temperature independetly of nightshift? in other words, can it be used to make your screen temperature cooler all the time instead of adjusting it for warmer at night?
Look at the screenshot. You can make the screen warmer or cooler depending on your preference. It's just a setting to reduce blue.
Well then people were sending me bad info. Sorry for the confusion.Look at the screenshot. You can make the screen warmer or cooler depending on your preference.
