Wh-what? You guys want beta 3 already?

I'm more than happy with beta 2. It's super smooth and stable for a beta, and eons better than iOS 9.2.1.

I could stay on this beta for a while longer. But yeah, we could see beta 3 next week, not this week.

Beta2 brought with it significant performance regressions compared to beta1 on iPhone 6 plus. So if you own one of those you'd be eagerly awaiting the, hopefully, fixed version.

I do. And I could not disagree with your summary of beta 2 more.

Well, my reference was too inclusive. What I meant was: for me and some other 6+ users, beta 2 was worse in several areas when it comes to visual performance. In particular the notification centre is *very* choppy, and app startup zoom stutters rather often. This will hopefully be rectified come the next beta (or at least by 9.3 final).

I have the same exact behavior. It will happen on every 6 +. I dont take people seriously that say "not on mine"..
I can see how it wont effect the regular 6. the 6 Plus has been a problem child since it launched.

You don't have to believe me, but "not on my iPhone 6S Plus".

There are a number of posts about the animated clock icon causing some of the issue, but I honestly see no stutter with NC, CC or with starting apps. Maybe the extra memory in the 6S Plus helps with the issue, but I don't see it.

I never said 6s plus. I said 6 Plus.

^^ Even 6S Plus shows regression. Touch ID behaves like the one on 5S/6. The phone unlocks 2-3 seconds after.

I have a 6+ and I am also having issues. It seems like almost every 6+ is having the same issues. Like I've said in another post, a single charge with about 11 hours of use would last me two days. Now, I can barely get one day out of a charge. I tried downgrading to 9.2 but iTunes said the firmware wasn't compatible. It's probably not a good idea anyway since I've updated all the apps and all my backups have 9.3 beta 2 on them.

Lets all not forgot to give feedback via the app. I already submitted but everyone should as well. Apple fixed the jittery app switcher on the 6 Plus when I and of course many others complained about it.

THE FACT IS beta 2 DOES show performance regression on iPhone 6 Plus. I hope this helps you understand the situation.

Definition of a "fact": A thing that is indisputably the case

YOUR OPINION IS that. Fact is verified by all, not subjective findings by only some.

In this case it IS a fact. all iPhone 6 + are exactly the same and will have the same behavior. I don't get what is so hard to understand.

Secondly we are talking about the iPhone 6 +.

NOT the 6 NOT the 6s NOT the 6s plus.

What is this thread about? It is just more of the same thing that the iOS 9.2 beta 2 changes thread deals with?

According to the thread title, it's about iOS 9.3 beta 3... one could easily assume that it was a discussion about the availability of beta 3... but apparently the iPhone 6 Plus lag police have taken it over.

Hey can you blame us?

Sorry about that. I'm confident it will be fixed/improved in time. I was just expressing my eagerness for the next version and its reason :)
