there are few changes & bug fixes in iOS 9.3 Beta 5, that's it. Apple is taking too much time to fix bugs in iOS 9. Few months later iOS 10 will come. Still apple is working on iOS 9, that is ridiculous.

Can any one please tell why apple removed Panorama wallpaper feature from iOS 7 GM version which was there in iOS 7 Beta versions. That feature never came back in iOS 7 or later.

The baby was a horrible analogy. Check.

The point that most people can't understand is that you can't always throw more money / people at a problem and expect that problem to be resolved quicker.

Here's a far better analogy that isn't so simple and contrived. Let's say I need to build a brick wall 5' high and 15' long. If I do that by myself (i.e. a single developer working on ALL bugs), it's going to take a long time. If I bring on a bigger team, let's just say 10 people, that wall WILL be built quicker. If you have 10 developers working on bugs, that may very well be quicker than 1 person doing all the work. That's just common sense. So, it takes me a week to build a wall. It takes my 10 person crew about a day and a half.

Let's say I want that wall done super quick. 5 minutes seems like a nice goal. So, I can just hire 50,000 workers to build that 15' of wall, right? That seems to be the attitude here. Apple has incredibly deep pockets, so they should just hire as many people as necessary to get the work done in an insanely quick amount of time. The problem is it doesn't work that way. 50,000 workers aren't going to get that wall done any quicker than 10 people would. There's a great chance they would just slow the entire project down in fact. There's just too many people, not enough space, they'll get in each others way, etc.

I'm sure Apple is staffed at what they find to be a reasonable level for the work they have to accomplish. Doubling that staff most likely won't double their productivity. And it may just slow it down. I can't say for sure as I don't work for Apple. But they're a successful technology company. I'm sure their practices would generally follow standard industry practices for software development. It's not like they get special and/or unique developers that are able to do what no one else in the market can do. They don't possess a magical room where the occupants are able to break the laws of nature and work miracles. They might get their pick of the little when it comes to talent, but that's all their money buys them.

The end result is, it really doesn't matter how rich Apple is. Money isn't the solution to this particular problem. Throwing money at the problem won't have any effect. Throwing more people at the problem might not be the best idea either. This is a matter of smart people finding the problems and fixing them. That process moves at it's own pace and isn't affected by what you might think.

They could hire smarter people and get rid of the ones who aren't competent enough for the task

Maybe try settings>reset>reset all settings . That seems to fix other strange issues that may crop up after an update. It does not remove data or apps but does reset wifi networks and wallpaper.

Seems great here. Battery definitely better for me than any of the other 9.3 Bx builds. Also performance wise it seems better than any version of iOS 9 so far.
Thank you for taking your time and help. I really appreciate it. Resetting all settings fixed it. :)

As mentioned, quite a bit more to it all than something like that (which in itself doesn't really solve problem, also as mentioned in another reply).

How are other companies releasing software with fewer bugs?

How do you know they have fewer bugs? Looking at pretty much any OS out here there there are more than likely hundreds if not thousands of open bugs against them, some that have likely been around for a long time.

Dude, what is your beef? I have read and read and read and read and read your complaints and not responded but geez let it go already. If you don't agree with how Apple releases or tests their beta software don't participate. It is well known that 3rd party apps sometimes may not work with beta or even sometimes released version UNTIL those developers apply the new API's or rules or whatever required by the mfg (Apple). I looked at your post list and so far have seen zero contributions and 100% complaining about this and that. Beta participation is for folks who KNOW there could be issues and things broken from one version to the next. That's nothing new. No one really cares what you think about how Apple does their job. Again if there are too many betas or not enough betas or released too fast or too slow or an issue here and there that you cant live with then don't participate. Simple. If you have the skills to create iOS that the "incompetent folks" at Apple don't have then apply at Apple and fix it for them. Lastly, please let the baby and 9 months conversation go. We have all read it enough. Thanks.

If you think Windows 10 for Mobile has fewer bugs I have news for you...

Apples software has become very glitchy lately. Maybe I'm spoiled from the days where stuff just worked.

By the way, I bought some music from iTunes last night and it messed up my iPhone so bad that I had to erase all of my music and start fresh.

I'm not denying that there are bugs in Apple's software and seemingly more so recently but as I use W10, Android and iOS devices I don't suffer so much from "grass is greener" syndrome. I still find iOS to be the most stable platform at the moment.

In what way did purchasing music mess up your iPhone may I ask? - genuinely interested

I guess is safe to ask now how's battery and performance on the 6s, anyone?

Battery life has definitely taken a knock on this version

I am experiencing shorter battery life compared to all 4 previous versions

i have a strange issue with my iPad mini 1, which since beta 3 randomly and at will logs out of iMessage and FaceTime. there is no pattern as to when it will do this, its definitely a couple of times a day rising to as many as five. This of course results in iMessage not syncing from my Mac's & iPhone 6 and calls not being available.

I've submitted three feedbacks and yesterday used @AppleSupport on Twitter for help. they have already responded, i replied via DM, now waiting for a reply from them.

will advise as to their solution.

I bought music from my iPhone, but I sync with my Mac at home.

I went to sync with my computer as I normally would and the new music copied over, but then I noticed that I now had a duplicate playlist in my iPhone and on my computer (one with the regular name "My Music" and one that said "My Music 1"). That was the first issue. So I removed "My Music 1" since "My Music" was the more accurate up to date playlist and synced again.

At this point my computer was taking an unusually long time to sync on the last step. I waited for it though because I've learned in the past that stopping it while it's doing something could mess things up more.

Then iTunes started syncing thousands of artwork files for my album art. Half of my album art went missing from my iPhone as the art tried re-syncing itself. I let it do it's thing and figured it was a one time deal.

Then, just to make sure it was totally all set, I synced again and it copied thousands of artwork files to the iPhone again. I waited yet AGAIN because stopping it could do more damage.

Then, just to be safe, I restarted my computer and my iPhone and synced again. It did the SAME THING with the album art! So finally, I just decided to uncheck "sync music" and let the iPhone remove ALL of my music. I unchecked the box and re-synced. After some time, MOST of my music removed itself from the iPhone, but there were still thousands of songs there. I figured it may be a glitch, so I restarted music.app (nope, all those songs were still there).

So at this point, I went into settings, storage management, and clicked on Music and attempted to delete all of my songs that way. After my phone froze for a while, it unfroze and my music was STILL THERE 11.8GB of it. So I tried it again, but this time, they actually deleted.

Then, I simply re-synced all of my music and now my artwork doesn't try to sync every time.

This is the kind of crap I fight with every time I buy new music. The music disappears from my "purchased" playlist and doesn't sync to the playlist I want them in.

It's a battle all the time. My music library is very neat and organized and I took the time to tag everything properly and all of my albums have the appropriate artwork.

I totally understand, I have duplicate playlists but I've grown tired of fighting them so I've just left them. I now use Apple Music so I rarely buy anything but when I do I purchase it on my phone and with iCloud Music Library on it is automatically on all my devices without needing to sync. I haven't synced to iTunes in 2 years and I don't intend to.

My sympathies, iTunes and Apple Music are probably the areas that need the most work without a doubt for me.

I can live with bugs but I wish they'd sort the glitchy animation out. For instance, when sending messages the frame rate hitches. Not what I'd expect on a 6S+

Same issue on my mini retina, no problem on5s. I think it's all about Smart Cover.

Temporary fix is setting the password time to Immediate

Did you report it back to Apple?
Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for the workaround and yes, reported.

On the beta on my iPhone 6S Plus, the hotspot is no longer working. I'm not 100% positive it isn't my computer but my computer connects to other hotspots. I open my iphone and when I try to connect on my computer my iPhone shows the little blue bar that its connected but then disappears immediately and flashes while it tries to connect but never does connect.
