I'm wondering if I should upgrade my iPads to 9.3 or wait a bit longer. In another thread, someone complained that AirDrop was not working with 9.3.

Are other people having trouble with AirDrop on 9.3? I use AirDrop a lot and would not like to lose it. But my new iPhone, on order and scheduled to arrive soon, will have 9.3 and having all my iDevices on the same version seems like a good idea.

Is there any change in battery life? I have had major issues with the battery life on my iPhone 6 and previous versions of iOS 9. When I was on iOS 8 I had absolutely no issues. I am currently running 9.2 and I am hesitant to upgrade since my iPhone works perfectly fine right now, with no issues what-so-ever.

I have two identical iPhone 6 phones. One is on 8.4.1, the other is on 9.3. I am not seeing any difference between the two in terms of battery life or overall performance.

Now I have seen a few in these threads also complain of battery life becoming significantly less on 9.3 and I have been monitoring mine. I have felt over the last couple of weeks that my phone is prompting me to turn on power saving mode early evening. I've always managed to get to 10pm with around 35% left.

Today at 6pm my phone was on 6% so I've had to stick it on charge. Please see below:

My question is; based on the said usage, am I getting a reasonable amount of time between charges? The picture shows a location symbol at the top but I only have it on a few apps. My signal is also poor but it always has around my house. I get about 2-4 bars depending on which room I am in.

I am at a bit of a loss as to why this and my lag has occurred since 9.3? My phone doesn't shut down or force close apps so apart from this I am using a decent phone. Any thoughts? :)

Sounds like something is stuck running in some way somewhere using up the battery, although the usage of about 2.5 hours doesn't quite follow that either as that is rather low usage (not that 10 hours of standby is much). Perhaps there's something gong on with the battery. Aside from restarting the phone, perhaps some things to try would be resetting network settings, resetting all settings, and perhaps even restoring the phone as new (in that order of trying) to see if any of those might get things back to normal.

Had the same issue and even reset all settings and restored from iCloud. Problem was not resolved. As such I booked an appt with a genius and they found that the phone consumes more power than it should. As such they offered us a replacement. iPhone 6s running 9.2.1. The only difference is that the affected phone would go from 100% to 5% only with 1 hours usage and 3-4 hours standby.

Yeah my usage started at 8am so it was actually later than a normal working day with today being a Bank Holiday here. I didn't think 2.5 hours would be considered excessive use so something is not right. I shall try the restore and if that doesn't work I will ask Apple to offer me a solution. This phone has been pretty well looked after and I expect it to last at least two years considering how much it cost. Apple are pretty good though and I'm sure my charm will prevail :)

I'm updated from 9.2.1 to 9.3(all OTA) and my 6 has never performed this good before. I thought 8.3 was great but this is even better. No lags, stutters etc just very quick and smooth.

Glad I'm not the only one. ;) I was very concerned about the update from 8.4.1 to 9.3. It's been great. The principal reason for me was to get VZW WiFi calling. Our home is in a cellular black hole - I can no make great calls on my iPhone from home.

Ok, my iPhone 6 still stutters and I am really annoyed. I just upgraded over the air. Would a full reset really make a difference? Would this mean that I then have to reinstall all contents manually or can I then recover from a backup?
An iPhone 4S on IOS8 that I sometimes use is clearly faster! Not a happy customer right now :(
