This is why I use encrypted backups in iTunes. iCloud encrypts your backups by default but not iTunes. If you encrypt your iTunes backup, it'll store more data from your device.
So when I encrypt my backup, could I backup more data such as app Data inside this backup?

Maybe it's worth having a try.
Last comment on this since it's going off track.

At work, I've cloned what is essentially a Master iPad. On it are apps loaded with PDFs and other data. Every time I restore a new iPad using the encrypted backup from that Master iPad, all of my data, to include the PDFs, have been restored to the new iPads.

Maybe my data is so unique that iTunes backup would not back them up.
I will have a try when possible. Thanks.

iPhone 6 iOS 9 Beta 2: I'm experiencing better battery life than iOS 8. I've been using my phone all day. Intentionally trying to run it down and it's much higher than I'm used to.
What app did you use to make the tall screenshot?

Its crazy how the same devices all get different variations. My FaceTime (And Audio) does not work and has not done since beta 1. The mediaserverd log says Audio Control crashes and a stacks log says "callservicesd timed out connecting to imagent". My battery life is better than beta 1, but still not great. My phone got warm when not on low power mode and charging and stayed warm 5 hours later when I took it off charge. I'm still seeing higher than normal CPU usage, it does get warm when being used, battery depletes quick when being used. I expect it to be a bit off as its a beta but I don't get how a lot of people who have done an OTA are having hardly any problems yet mine is pretty bad.

I have a 6 by the way.

UPDATE: I have been running on low power mode since this and it hasn't been too terrible but okayish. I discovered what might be burning my battery. My apps are not closing. I close them from the switcher, do a hard reboot and they are back again. I had it before in beta 1. But I done a full charge, hard reset the phone and it said I had 96%... So now its fully fully charged! Seems to be running cooler again off low power mode so going to see what happens!

EDIT: And oh, by doing that, I have got Facetime working!!

I just had my screen on my 6+ become completely unresponsive and it took a bit for me to be able to even turn the phone off and soft reset.

Seems like standby time on iOS 9 is dramatically increased. I think Apple may be throttling down the processors and services when the phone's screen is off to help save power when idle.

I can't wait till the final version if this is any indication of the battery life we come to expect.

Battery performance with iOS 9 beta 2 has been very good on my iPhone 6, without having to turn anything off. It has also been stable thus far.
Here's an "interesting" observation, since the release of iOS 9 beta 2 my iPhone 6 has been getting some of the best usage/standby times that I've seen...while still running the same "old" iOS 8.3. Go figure. ;)

I feel sorry for you mate I'm not experiencing any of that. My battery and performance on beta 2 is fantastic!! I feel like I'm on GM software atm beta 1 was horrible. And I've got this beta on my iPhone 6 as my daily driver.

I've even chosen not to go back to 8.3 for the jailbreak because this beta got me loving iOS 9. The way camera and photos work now so smooth in transitions.

it won't be long before I get to jump on it. I think I'd prefer to be on a non-beta release for Apple Music launch too :)

An astute observation. I would venture to say that many members have observed something very similar. :D

Performance is good.

But battery life.

My wish was heard.

No tricks. Just the real battery life of iOS 9 beta 2 on my iPhone 6 plus.

I need to say that I am a heavy user.
Used it today for example for 45 minutes screen on navigating.

Shortly after I send that text out my phone died while showing 100,%
It didn't shut down. Got direct off, like the battery was pulled out.
Could boot it only with charging and showed 3% after turning on and being on charger now

So far, performance on my iPad Mini 2 seems less than steller. It's definitely more choppy than it was on iOS 8.1.3 (what I had before, hadn't updated in a while).

But, it may be because it's still restoring apps. (Has been the last two hours.) Will know better tomorrow.

On initial install of iOS 9 I was seeing a dramatic reduction in battery life. With very light usage my iPhone 6 would drain the battery to zero by 15:00 after coming off the charger at 07:30. Turned out "Breeze by Runkeeper" was using excess battery in background activity and I have since found out this app is no longer supported or available! Deleting the app and a hard reboot sorted it and I am now seeing a marked improvement over iOS 8 as well.

The Battery Graph widget claims a standby of 78 days LOL

I'm now fairly convinced theres something wrong with the percentage count because this is ridiculous. Still at 96% re. my last post...

Well, IMO, beta 2 is amazingly fast. That's on a 5s. Battery drain so far has been okay.
I also have a 5S and i just installed beta 2. What i am seeing is the control centre has stuttering animation and also the multitasking screen. Do you also notice the same?

Was on iOS 8.3, jail broken. Updated to iOS 9 beta 2 and battery life was horrendous even on Low Power Mode. Phone was constantly burning. Performance wasn't good either.

I restored to factory settings with no backup, now battery life is pretty good. 1 hour 30 min usage 85%. Performance much better now too.

On iPhone 5 :)
