Yeah but this whole thread is a speculation thread where half of the posts are jokes to pass the time until the next 10AM PST disappointment hour hits. I'd say if it could be allowed anywhere, this thread would be it. lol.

And yes, I think we can all hope he's right. At least it gives us a non 10 AM time to be at least a little excited about :)

For sure, but there's a difference between a joke (which you can easily spot) and something like what this guy is doing.

I don't know if your being nice or sarcastic but either way my mother always said if you don't have anything nice to say keep your comments to yourself. If your congratulating me bc I downgraded my software then ode to me but if your being sarcastic then dont respond to my posts. Thanks.

I can just imagine how smug you will be if it does come out then.

And everybody attacking him, give him a chance. It is his first day, and there is no excuse to attack him like this. Don't turn the MacRumors Forums into a place like that. Plus, if he is lying, he's probably just messing around. Other people on this thread have done similar things, so why him? So just back off.

Just to throw my hat into the ring no joke I emailed Craig Federighi and he replied "Seriously? Calm down :)" XD funniest email I've had all week

And yes it is really him. I've emailed him a handful of times and chatted with him

This thread made my work day fly by like never before. Are you not entertained!?!

But seriously come on Apple where is this update? Although I find beta 2 to be pretty stable and fast. The battery also lasts much longer than beta 1. One can only hope beta 3 is better

Wasn't someone just earlier in the thread saying that people are just taking things too seriously here and shouldn't be and it's all just speculation "for the fun of it all"? How quickly things change.

Does the delay have to do with the current iOS glitch?
Phones are randomly restarting all around the world.

Maybe they pulled everyone over for an emergency fix/release?
