How is Wednesday early in the week?
That's past middle at most.

Like I said it's subjective. Some people start the week on Monday (in which case 3rd day out of 7), some start it on Sunday (4 out of the 7).

For me "early" has already passed as of 12pm today. According to my mom the week is still early.

Wednesday would be considered mid week for pretty much everyone in the world.

And it's not like delays are a new concept when it comes to software development

If I remember correctly, you started a few hate content in the original thread.
I believe you would be remembering incorrectly then. And even if someone did start something what sort of rationale would apply to yo--the thread creator and original poster of earlier threads on this topi--somehow trying to sink the very topic you yourself have been starting threads about?

If the week was split in half, would Wednesday land in the earlier half of the week or the later half of the week?

(Not that it even really matters since at most it just points out that Eddy Cue's comment could just be incorrect simply because plans change, as they certainly can and have many times before when it comes to many things in life.)

American calendars start Sunday, so Wednesday would fit right in the middle.
With the only option in that question of there being just the earlier half and the later half, there is no middle (or anything else aside from the two halves) to select.

Assuming Sunday is your start day 1, then it would be the fourth day, and thus the latter.
Assuming Monday is your start day 1, then it would be the third tay, and thus the former.

A lot of people start on Sunday, but a lot of people start on Monday. There's no "official" way to start.

And then you can also say that until noon on Wednesday it's still the earlier half and after noon it's the later half. So, certainly various ways of looking at it.

But, again, the bigger point in that is that ultimately it really doesn't matter since at most all it shows is that what Eddy Cue said didn't turn out to be right in the end (but could have very well been at the time that the statements were made), which can easily be explained by plans changing at some point because of something. That's really it.
