yup. ios9 sucks on my 6 Plus.
don't expect it to get any better. The 6 Plus is like the iPad 3; underpowered, overpriced. Out of all the iPhones I've owned, the 6 Plus has the worst performance for a new phone.

huh? underpowered? It's more powerful than any other iPhone.

raw benchmark score yes, real world performance no.
just accept that it doesn't have enough RAM and GPU power to operate at such resolution. It's a fact.

Do you think the A9 chip and the rumored 2GB of RAM on the iPhone 6s Plus would alleviate most of the performance problems you are facing with your phone?

Yes, look at the iPad air 2, it flies with 2GB ram. Apps and safari tabs are refreshing like crazy on my 6 plus. heck it even has trouble loading some content intensive websites.

of course, going to the diagnostic logs, I see at least 10 Jetsam event logs being produced every day, indicating insufficient memory.

iOS 8 doesn't run that great on any device (including Air 2, which is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable).
iOS 9 feels the same so far, which is a shame especially because Apple made such a big deal out of it (it's still in beta so I'll refrain from criticizing it that much)

I'm confident it'll improve by the GM. There will be a reason to complain if it's not up to par by the public release.

The iPad Air is weaker than the 6+, has a higher resolution, and runs fine.

Just wanted to add to the chorus that I have experienced a pretty significant battery drain since installing the most recent public beta. Purely guesstimating, but I gather that I am losing battery life around 50% quicker than normal.

My guesstimate (but a pretty good guesstimate) was that PB2 was running down my battery at twice the rate of PB1 or 8.4.

My battery only experienced severe battery drain for 2 days. Prior to that and subsequent to that, I'm back to my usual level of drain. I can get 2 days again.

Yup. 6+ here as well. Sometimes, when scrolling quickly it stops responding to my swipes.
good to know i'm not alone. im hoping there's an update tomorrow or wednesday. If not, i gotta go back to 8.4 cause ill be traveling and need my phone working at full force.

For me (iPhone 6) I clearly have worse battery life with 9beta then iOS8.
I am getting through the day without problems, but with 8 the phone sometimes was lasting up to two days.

I have the impression that 3rd party are draining a lot, wether the problem is on Apple side or on app programmer side we will see with later betas and modified apps. So I don´t expect too much until release date of the final Version.

My battery had been fine, but I find very noticeable lag in just about everything I do now. I know this is a beta but I thought the whole point of iOS 9 was more stability. Just not really seeing that at all so far.

Has anyone else seen the Phone process draining the most percentage of battery? Like 20% even if you haven't had any calls.

not true.

https://gfxbench.com/compare.jsp?be...U&hwname1=Apple+A7+GPU&D2=Apple+iPhone+6+Plus

oh by the way,

ipad air renders on screen at 2048 x 1536 = 3.1 MP
iphone 6 plus renders on screen at 2208x1242 = 2.7 MP

so, no, it is not underpowered to operate at such 'high resolution'

saying so would mean every retina ipad other than the ipad air 2 and pro are underpowered.
