Wish Weatherboard wasn't completely transparent. It's hard to see on a lighter background. Did it remove your slider on the lock screen?
Well, I have it over my own wallpaper. You can set it to use just the weather app wallpaper (with animations) if you like. It'll change with the weather.

I don't care for the slide to unlock slider and the camera button on my lockscreen, nor the style of clock Apple uses. I have LockHTML and that tweak has the option to remove all that stuff. I used it to place a much smaller clock on my lockscreen shortly after these screen grabs.

So if you use your own wallpaper can you still see the animations or only text conditions?

You see the animated conditions that you would see inside the weather app that is the overlay.

If it's raining, you will see rain drops running down your screen over your wallpaper. If it's sunny, there will be sunshine coming from the top left and slowly increasing then fading. If there is lightning you will see it over your wallpaper. If clouds, you will see them slowly drift over your wallpaper. So on and so on.

At night you see stars and the occasional shooting star, plus any other weather conditions for your area.

Open the weather app and all that you see in there (the moving parts) will be what display over your wallpaper.

You can choose the lockscreen, the homescreen or both. Or none, and just have the text forecast if you like.

Okay. I tried setting my own wallpaper and I didn't see any animations. This is what I have when I activate the overlay on my lockscreen.

That looks like the wallpaper for "Sunny" from the weather app. When you set it in the tweak, set the overlay for "Current Location". It will then ask if you want to overlay the weather on your wallpaper. Say yes, or press the button at the bottom that saves overlay ON. Then set for your homescreen, lockscreen or both.

Incidentally, all sunny is going to show you is the sun rays. If you look closely you can see it proceeding from the top left to the bottom right. It's not one of the more overly animated ones.

By the way, if it is NOT animating, you need to turn off Reduce Motion in Settings>General>Accessibility.

Got it.

Thanks!

Just curious, do you know why there's two icons in my forecast?

You're welcome!

My guess at the two icons would be that one is for the high and the other is for the low. But that's just a guess.

I'm using Weatherboard 2 at the bottom left on mine so I'm not getting icons unless I scroll over to the right and look at the actual forecast.

Is there any tweak to move the date and time to a lower position on the lock screen?

Also is there any tweak similar to Anchor? Anchor is not working well at the moment.

Bigify or Shrink will do that. Both are not updated yet. I'm waiting on Shrink.

I've purchased every version of Springtomize since it came out. And I'll be buying 4 when it drops also, so I don't feel that bad for checking out that patched version of 3 that's out, and it does in fact shrink icons, and a few other things I really wanted work too. Just sayin'

What I'd really like is for More Icons to be updated. More Icons lets you specify how many rows/columns on both the springboard and dock as well as if you want labels or not and the percentage of size.

FolderCustomizer is another I am waiting on as that allows you to remove the backgrounds of folders on the springboard and specify rows and columns inside folders.

Yeah, I'm familiar with it. Although springtomize handles all of those for the exception of custom folder backgrounds. It does however give you the option to remove the folder background. I'm using betterfiveicondock and betterfivecolumnhomescreen for now. I may uninstall them to see if springtomize's features work to change the number of icons in the dock and springboard.

Edit: I tested it, and yeah, I can choose number of columns, rows, and dock icons with this patched version. I'm using hideme8lite to remove labels, but I bet this patched version will do that too.

FolderEnhancer does the same thing and has been updated for iOS 9.
FolderCustomizer has some other features that Enhancer does not. I usually use both. FolderEnhancer has already been installed.

Thanks though, I appreciate that.

Good grief. Opened this thread - read a few pages - hardly understood a single word! You peeps have a language all of your own!

Might hang onto the 5S when my upgrade cycle comes round - and try jailbreak it, see what all the fuss is about!

All you need to know is that the jailbreak lets you install tweaks (modifications to system files, features, functions and processes) and apps.

The rest of it are the names of those tweaks and apps, the things they allow us to do and the solutions/problems they create - especially in conjunction with other tweaks and apps.

What is everyone using to remove labels? I'm trying to use as little as possible lol. Only thing I'm using at this point is Anemone, Mikoto, 3gUnrestrictor, and MyWi.

That's all I have on there right now. I am considering Iconoclasm again.

Hideme8 Lite

I hide icon labels through the info.plist file... and add the file to whatever I have enabled in Anemone.

Having no problems with Limneos' Audio Recorder 2 for iOS9 on the iPhone 6s Plus 9.0.1. (Of course, it's a non-pirated version.)

Have tested its Skype recording support on the iPhone 6s+.

- It doesn't work with the latest (current) Skype version (6.5) - only the first conversation is "recorded" after installing Skype and the recording is invalid (a 0-sec one)
- Of older versions, 5.8.516 (Dec/2014) works just great.
- Of even older versions, 4.15.329 (Nov/2013) can't connect to the Skype server and is, therefore, useless.

EDIT: On an iPad, iPad-specific Skype versions won't be recognized by the app, including the still, apart from not recording the first call after a cold start and not being compatible with iOS9, Skype Recorder-compliant 4.19.10. (As was the case with the old Skype Recorder, necessiating a hack and my dedicated Cydia app I've described in my old articles.) The above iPhone-specific 5.8.516 works just great on my Air2 on 9.0.2 with Audio Recorder 2.

Of course, this means you'll need to put up with an iPhone app running in the iPhone simulator. Nevertheless, if you're on iOS9, this is the only way of recording Skype calls, given that Skype Recorder is no longer compatible with iOS9.
