Finally got messages customiser to work!

I couldn't get it to work at all, installed v3.0 and every time I'd click back to the conversation list it would crash.

Just spotted a post on Reddit and someone said to turn convo pics off in MC settings. Did that and hey presto.

I still have convo pics though. I assume this is standard in iOS 9 as I have no tweaks installed to create them and they're still there

Thank god no more bright green!

Yes!!

Iphonehacks.com just posted it. Can you enter the app and snap a screenshot. It looks the same as the patched versions.

I was using the patched version before this released. It's different for sure. The real new version has features working the patched one didn't even have like changing nc and cc colors.

Wow Springtomize is freakin awesome. Now I can finally ditch infinidock which works like crap on ios9. Nightmode 9 is working decently, I'm a pretty happy camper.

Just a quick question for those who have switched from Winterboard to Anemone.

What does it do that WB doesn't?

The only thing I've noticed is prevent you from using themes that haven't been updated for anemone yet.

Oh, and the previews which are kind of nice but always seem to leave out icons.

Thanks. Will give it a go just out of curiosity.

Actually a few things are different. Anemone will replace certain tweaks you might have installed, it handles things differently than WB did, like tones and a few other things. Also, devs are creating Anemone specific mods that you can't toggle on with WB. I made the switch and couldn't be happier with it. Plus it's lighter, cleaner, and faster to use.

What StarkCity said is spot on, especially the part about it being "cleaner." Been JB off and on for years with Winterboard and much prefer Anemone. I have 5-6 themes installed and all are compatible. Also, it will give you a preview of the theme, or mixture of theme set ups, before you respring. Plus, you can install classicdock.

What tweaks will it replace?

I've installed it but so far have seen no difference to WB. It applies themes. I don't see how it's lighter or cleaner than WB. But maybe I'm missing something? I usually do minimal theming. Just pick a theme I like the icons of and that's it. I use hide me or springtomize to get the dock/status bar/ icon labels the way I like them

The preview is okay but as above it always had a few icons missing.

But I realise it's a fairly new tweak so will leave it installed as in interested to see how it develops.

I'm almost positive Anemone will completely replace WB this upcoming year. Lighter meaning the file size is smaller than WB, cleaner may be a matter of opinion but it looks way better than ol' WB, and has the ability to edit ( move ) the order of themes.

As for the tweaks it will remove, when it first released it wanted to uninstall tweaks related to tones when I installed it if memory serves, but I think it's been changed since then. It would have told you if you had a tweak installed when you downloaded it.

Winterboard has always had the option to prioritize tweaks by moving them up and down in the list.

I do agree about the cleaner look though. It's nice how the themes are collapsible to hide all of the additional sub-themes.

Lol, after years of use I never knew that. Meh, either way I think it's going to be the go to theme engine from now on. Most theme devs recommend it in the description of their themes so I just went for it. Plus it's faster overall moving from one theme to another imo

Kind of off-topic, but anyone know how to hide the background of a folder icon with Springtomize?

Not the folder background itself, but the background of a folder icon on the springboard.

This is an option in FolderEnhancer, which I have since uninstalled because I bought Springtomise yesterday. Cannot seem to find this option in Springtomise.

Yes you could move themes around in WB (some tweaks needed to be moved to the top to make sure they override something in another theme) but if you want to move themes in WB, some themes contained 15-20 items/tweaks (28AA and add-ons) that had to be moved one at a time. Anemone allows you to just move the theme "folder" containing all the tweaks within, if that makes sense. And I can't really remember what Anemone removed except iconomatic and WB...but I remember when I installed it there were three or four tweaks removed that were no longer needed. When you install it, the last screen before you click install, there is a field that tells you what is being removed. But to me, again, it allowed classic docks to be installed.

I don't know if it will phase out WB, but my advice is to use both and use the one that YOU enjoy and works best for you.
