everything working good for me on 6 Plus, except the Wimbledon app crashes
Battery life is also ok

Now on 78%
Usage: 2 hrs, 27 mins
Standby: 4 hrs, 39 mins

It's laggier than iOS 8.3 on my 4S. I'm also getting significantly higher data usage from iOS 9 PB. My ping shoots up to 800+ on some game servers. When I turn off wifi on my phone it goes back down to 74-80. I'm not sure what the issue is so I can't really send in a feedback report.

If you report it as a wifi or cellular issue, the app will collect the necessary logs and attach them to the report. Then just explain what happens to the best of your ability.

Battery life is the same as iOS 8.4 for me on an iPhone 5C. In terms of stability, no. I've seen extreme lag, GUI bugs, and a few crashes. If all you want to do is test low power mode and Siri, stay on iOS 8.4 until iOS 9 is released, unless you have an extra device to test on.

I used my iPhone all day today with PB1 on, Notes crashed once, that's it. My iPad hasn't been all that great though, seen quite a few crashes, one I had to hard reset to fix.

Have not installed on 6 Plus due to possible error/interference with Apple Watch. Public Beta is so far flawless on iPad Air 2. Battery life a no issue. *yet

Good battery on my 6, yes, some lag, some landscape issues (with messaging app) but seems stable enough for daily use.

The fact that many of you are complaining about lag tells me that the PB isn't for me. I don't care about end user features, not right now. I care about having a smooth and lag free experience, and IOS 8 has been hit or miss on my iPhone 6 plus in that area and I am/was hoping for IOS 9 to fix that.

I didn't know it did that automatically. Haha. Thanks will do.

The wifi issue seems to disappear when I reboot my phone so if other people are having that issue just do a hard reboot. Most of the UI lag are from apps that aren't fully supported in iOS 9 so that's pretty normal. Safari is smoother I've noticed. Does anyone know how to get the beta content blocker extension for Safari?

Don't understand this, since installation of public beta battery history says that Apple music has used 10% of my battery and I haven't even started the application?

I updated last night and have never opened the music app but the battery usage shows 9%. How?

It definitely works well enough. I haven't had any major issues. Occasional slowdown/stuttering, but for a beta it works quite well. Battery life is not that great (I'm at 42% with 3 hours of usage lol) but I also have been playing Clash of Clans at high to max brightness and that easily makes my iPhone 6 last only 5 hours on even iOS 8.4. Standby time is just fine though. I wouldn't worry about it, go ahead and install for a day or two and if things are too iffy for you, revert back to iOS 8.4. I've been pleasantly surprised as this is my first ios beta I've ever used.

I had my drain solved by turning off Apple music completely AND log out from my iTunes account in the music player. Removed the drain on my both devices.
Now the performance is solid with really great battery life and fluid animations. Love how smooth Safari is compared to 8.x on both iPad and iPhone.

Is OK for a Beta , but some app crash or just will not open at all , Jawbone Up 24 no longer syncs and the band is not recognized, Kevo lock is unusable , Walmart app no go , OOma app is not working , Instant BP not working either , so if any of these apps and or devices are priorities stay on 8.4 . Battery life is hmmmm is not that great , Im sure all these third party apps will eventually be fixed, in the meantime , I will continue to use it , since it seems to be an interesting upgrade to test .

What are some of things u like about this new os ?

Pros:
SF Font
- I had to turn up iOS8 Text Size. New font actually is easier on eyes and I went back to default size
Notes - I used Notes.app for far more detailed notes than it was made for. Now it exceeds my needs.
Siri - Talking right away rather than waiting for the beep has made it feel more natural and useful
Stability - Other than News.app then iOS9 has felt more solid than iOS8 for me

Neutral:
Keyboard Trackpad -
6+ should get the 2-finger trackpad feature but unfortunately its iPad only
Multitasking/Sidebar - Again, 6+ screen is big enough for the feature but its iPad only
Picture in Picture - And once again, iPad only. But Picture in Picture is great for YouTube talking heads

Cons:
Battery Drain -
Others report this but I actually haven't noticed (probably since 6+ lasts forever)
App Switching Cards - When you have a lot of apps open then it can get a bit inefficient
Still No "Close All" - Seems like they're just withholding this important command for Force Touch

Overall, I don't "love" iOS9. But I definitely feel its an improvement over iOS8. (But then again, theres a whole thread on people downgrading back to 8.4 so...)

Apple Music was always turned off but I did log out of my iTunes account. Interesting that in the last 22 hours Music has used 10% of my battery (Background Activity) and I've played a total of 1 song. I also found that after installing the PB my Limit Ad Tracking had been turned on and Send Diagnostics had been turned on. They have always been turned off.

I installed public beta in my IPhone 6 and IPad air 1, on the iPad is running great, faster and less laggy than IOS 8, but in the IPhone 6 seems a little bit buggy (8 was running super smooth) so it's a mixed feeling... Battery seems ok on both devices. (By the way I also updated to El capitan on my retina 13")

Installed it on my iPhone 5s and iPad Mini 2. So far still okay. Loving the app linking and trackpad feature. Spotlight takes forever on my devices, though it could probably just be indexing at the moment. Pretty smooth overall.

Think this could be a keeper if battery life remains okay.

Close all hasn't been something that Apple sees as being needed in the past, so it's not likely they are withholding it or see it as anything even close as important (as they would rather not have people close everything all the time).

I tried it on my iPhone 6 and iPad Mini 2 and while it's "stable", it's buggy. And that's ok, that's not a ding on Apple - it IS an early beta. But to answer the question, I don't think so. Unless you are really tolerant. Maybe try on an iPad but not your daily driver phone.

I went back to iOS 8 and Yosemite after trying the PB of iOS 9 and El Cap for a day.

Pretty stable for me. Lots of flickering and apps closing on their own. A lot of times, my videos wont show the video, only the sound.
I found this with you tube video ( there was no visual when playing them from reddit) I found that after I opened Youtube app for the first time it fixed the issue and I have not observed it again...worth a try!
