Ha. iOS is very complex.iOS is probably simpler than OS X and shouldn't take as long to optimize. Also Apple said they were working on iOS 8 features before iOS 7 even came out, so maybe they've been working on 9 for a while.
And I never said it wasn't? I said it's "probably simpler (to optimize) than OS X".Ha. iOS is very complex.
Can you point at the source where it says that?iOS is probably simpler than OS X and shouldn't take as long to optimize. Also Apple said they were working on iOS 8 features before iOS 7 even came out, so maybe they've been working on 9 for a while.
I don't have the source I just remember they said around WWDC last year that they spent years getting some iOS 8 features right. Can you point at the source where it says that?
There's pretty much no way they won't release 8.4 after having it in not only dev beta but also public beta.Oh wow this thread came back from the dead. Well I'm now thinking entirely different then when I made this thread. I now think iOS 8.4 is never going to go public but served so Apple could get a head start on beta testing the music app for iOS 9.
Dev betas and public betas still only include not so average users. The public beta seems to only include people who submitted feedback for the OS X beta. This is why I call them not so average users. So in my theory I'm thinking no average user knows about iOS 8.4 so they won't miss it if it's never released publicly. There's pretty much no way they won't release 8.4 after having it in not only dev beta but also public beta.
