 iOS Working, Broken and SoSo apps

WiFi calls on other devices isn’t working for me. Is it working for others? And EverNote?
 
Im running b2 on iPhone X and got some issues with Location-based apps like Google Maps and Flitsmeister (radar checker).
Can take up to 20minutes before GPS location is correct, reboot does not help.
 
I’m asking again, is WiFi calling on iPad/Mac working through iPhone? Or is it still disabled? :(
 
So here's a weird one I noticed. While listening to pandora via carplay, everything cuts off when I shift into reverse.
 
EDIT: Saw the info about updating Evernote in the app store. WE GOOD :)

Evernote is totally effed for me in Public Beta

Are others having GPS issues with iPhone X and B2/PB1?
 
Can anyone confirm if Botim is working on the public beta on iPhone X. Its a video chatting app used in the Middle East.
 
Damn. I was really looking forward to giving the public beta a go, but as I rely on Twitter & Scanner Pro for work and Netflix for entertainment, those apps being broken means I'll probably have to wait for the next release.

Well, don't take this as endorsement necessarily but I just loaded a video in Netflix, scanned a business card in scanner pro and read my Twitter feed. Sign-in issues aren't a problem if you don't sign it in the first place and I have no idea what's meant to be wrong with scanner pro. YMMV and the risk is yours to take or not.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I did just take a backup if things get bad, and my mobile twitter/scanning workload shouldn't be too heavy this week so... Here we go. Will report back if nothing/everything works :p

netflix & twitter both working here...
 
Can confirm both Twitter and Scanner Pro seem to be working fine for me (granted I upgraded, so not a clean install/new login for twitter). Netflix also appears to be working ok although I only tried it briefly. Will report anything interesting I find over the next few days. So far it seems fairly fast with some modest performance enhancements, although not a huge improvement over iOS 11 on my 6s (which I honestly never found to be a huge downgrade).

Waze does too if you just update and have already pressed the Accept for Terms and Conditions.

Asana works

Inbox by Gmail works

Apps with some small Issues
  • Telegram (iPhone X): Homescreen improperly scaled
  • 1Blocker X (iPhone X): Weird space under search option
  • Box: Photos are misaligned in their boxes
  • HBO GO/Now (iPad): Picture-in-picture not working
  • Hulu (fails to load content intermittently)
  • iMazing: Listed in release notes, working for some
  • Google Maps have shrunk search bar occasionally when navigating around.
  • Google Maps (iPhone X): GPS position can take up to 20m before it's correct
  • Gospel Library: Tab headers under Notes and Tips get cut off on the left edge of the screen
  • LDS Tools: Search/filter bar sometimes gets misaligned (gap above) when rotating to landscape
  • MoviePass: Some users reporting crash when taking picture of stub in app
  • NPR One - the playback controls are squished.
  • OkCupid: Profile pictures are misaligned in their boxes
  • Paleco : Lists don't show text. Known (colour palette) ssue. Use "dark mode" until fix is rolled out.
Apps with major Issues
  • iSmartAlarm (iPhone 8+)
    • Won't log in, says no internet connection
  • OpenVPN (iPhone X)
    • Only works for connections using certificates for authentication and not username password and only when you use the inbuilt iOS VPN toggle to connect.
    • Acknowledged by developers on twitter, fix coming this summer.
  • RunKeeper (iPhone X)
    • Will not obtain a proper GPS fix. Can't calculate running pace and distance will wildly vary.
  • PUBG / PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (iPhone 5S)
    • App will occasionally crash.
  • Street Fight 4 Champion Edition (App open just fine. But crashes when ranked match about to start)
  • Barclays UK - Crashes every 30-40 seconds.
  • Netflix - at some point it will freeze during video playback and show spinning indicator. Only way to solve is to reset Netflix from the settings app or to uninstall and reinstall. But doing this means you have to log in to Netflix again, which doesn’t work - credentials are always rejected.
Broken Apps
  • Audible - Crashes upon launch
  • Acuity Scheduling: crashes upon launch
  • Alien Blue (iPad, not sure about iPhone): crashes upon launch
  • Bank of America - permanent loading indicator after logging in.
  • CareCredit app closes on launch
  • Citi Mobile (mentioned in release notes) crashes instantly
  • Evernote
  • Fonta (all features but text editing still broken after 2.4 update)
  • Fortnite crashes upon the start of a game
  • Infuse is crashing after opening - Works fine in version 5.7.3
  • iTunes Remote crashes immediately (Beta 1+2)
  • Ikea Trådfri
  • LogMeIn - hangs on authentication; UI unresponsive
  • Microsoft Teams crashes instantly — no longer crashes on version 1.077.
  • Microsoft Continue on PC crashes after swiping through all the intro screens.
  • NikeFuel instantly crashes on launch
  • Office Lens
  • PaloAlto Networks, Global Connect VPN app broken, popup that states the app needs to be updated for iOS 12 support
  • Real Racing 3
  • S-Mobiili crashes upon launch ( works again in DP2 )
  • San Diego County Credit Union (SDCCU)
  • Scanner Pro
  • Skype (mentioned in release notes) crashes instantly - Fixed in Inside Preview. Fixed in latest Skype 8.74
  • Sparkasse and Sparkasse pushTAN app crash upon launch
  • Stamp (cannot find Apple Music servers to populate imported playlists)
  • TalkRADIO UK app, sticks on splash screen (still broken in beta 2)
  • Tesco Clubcard fails to load the majority of the time and is unresponsive when it does
  • Twitter: Can’t sign into Twitter. Shows a blank screen with nothing. Can sign up though (fine on PB1)
  • Untappd: Unable to login via user/pass or facebook. login stalls then app closes
  • Waze: Updated privacy policy text cannot be accepted (no button) so cannot use app

Similar problem for me. Whenever I engage an outside camera (reverse or right turns), I temporarily lose connection. Sometime it reconnects on its own, other times I have to unplug and plug back in. I disabled automatic engagement of the right turn camera and now only have the issue when in reverse.

Filed a feedback. I'll deal until it's resolved in a later beta--knees what I was getting into when I opted in.
