what do you mean by tabbed interface? There are actual "tabs" at the top for different categories: my music, stations, now playing, recent.

yeah, it looks very similar to that, but doesn't have the icons up top (just a thinner tab with the words only). The only bug I encounter is that sometimes the album art does not show on the side like your SS.
Weird that they still have the signal "dots" there instead of the bars. Maybe they just haven't gotten around to changing it yet, but knowing their lack of attention to tiny details lately, my money is they don't change them on 11 final. (Much like the default image for wallpaper chooser is still the iOS 9 wallpaper even on iOS 10...small things like that).
My screenshot was from iOS 10 not 11. Just showing the tabbed interface as requested by mattopotamus. I don't have iOS 11 installed on my phone.
If you look at the link I posted a couple posts ago, you'll see that the iOS 11 screenshots do have the bars instead of the dots.
Just finished a 4h30min CarPlay supported drive from Vienna to Munich on PB1. Besides the fact that lane guidance and speed limits don’t work yet in Austria/Germany I was routed around traffic jams and can’t complain at all. After 450km I arrived at my destination. All closed roads were displayed perfectly. Google Maps does not show all closed roads. Dynamic rerouting happened shortly before I arrived in Munich to avoid evening traffic jams. Waiting for the next beta hoping that speed limits and lane guidance will be available here as well. No crashes in PB1 like it happened with DB1.
Awaiting speed limit display here too for Finland.. but DP2 is indeed much much much more stable than DP1 with caplay, it's actually usable again, unlike the first releases crashfest.
Seems like they won’t release it for us. Same procedure as every year. Applepay, TV, News, no scribble on AW, Maps... the list goes on and on
No changes with DP4/PB3.

haven't used the most recent beta, but did use PB1 for a bit and it did solve one of my issues with CarPlay on iOS 10, which is crashing the UI when iCloud Music Library is larger than 20K songs, it seems the problem is solved on iOS 11 beta.
Today with PB4/DB5 it was the 1st time I got a message saying:“In 1.6 km delay ahead” (Störung in 1.6km - original German wording). And there was a short traffic delay..... navigated over 5 hours from Vienna to Munich streaming TuneIn radio which ran without any issues.
Still waiting for speed limits and lane guidance. In beta 1 speed limits where displayed but graphically not very appealing.
