Yes UK stock is not good. I was going to get the base model but got the mini instead, it’s more expensive but this little thing is a powerhouse.

I loved the Mini, it is a powerhouse. But the 256GB storage was a dealbreaker for me. 512 would have been perfect.
I don’t need massive storage so the base 64 is fine. I have all large files on an external portable HD when I need them.
Bleh, I was excited to finally get my mom an iPad for Xmas this year…ended up having to buy a refurbished 9th gen base Wi-Fi+LTE on eBay. I sure hope it turns out to be a good working device.

No not that I've seen. My order will be here Tuesday. I checked Costco and Best Buy here mostly and couldn't find one. They have the Pros and airs in stock but the upgraded base releasing this year isn't available. I've seen some with the older chipset which I'd rather just wait for the new one.
My daughter just got her Xbox series S setup and now this iPad is coming in she is going to be in digital heaven when she sees it.
