iPad 10W USB Power Adapter + 6' cable?

Just wondering if the charger that comes in the box with the iPad will have the added 6' cable that they show on ipad accessories page. I feel like this will undoubtedly be very convenient to have. Anyone know?

Thanks, this is what I wanted to know. Oh well, I guess a USB extension cable will work equally as well. Definitely not worth an extra $30 IMO.

The "iPad 10W USB Power Adapter," listed as an accessory is the exact same as the "iPad 10W USB Power Adapter," listed as being provided in the box. The accessory bares no differentiation in name than the included part.

Just because it's called the same thing doesn't mean it will come with the cable. The 10W USB Power Adapter is referring to the little brick, and does not mention the extension cable. Who knows though? I guess we'll know in three weeks...

I disagree. I know it lists the "iPad 10W USB Power Adapter" as included in the box and that's same name as the product with the "extension cord". However, when I look at the product details of the "iPad 10W USB Power Adapter" I see this:

I don't know. But I'd bet they aren't sending the "extension cord" with the iPad.

I really hope it's not the size of the iPhones cord, that thing is so short you can barely use it while charging. From the info on the page and the keynote it sounds like it will come with the charger that they offer as an accessory. Maybe they are just wanting you to buy an extra charger.

If you need extra length then you can purchase the longer 6" cable one.

i think he means like a regular usb cable that comes with ipods and iphones and the ipad also comes with just the wall adapter where this accessory also has 6 feet extra feet.

i feel that it will come with the six feet tho.

It's cheaper not to include it. Plus they are selling the adapter with the extension cord as an accessory.

I just looked at both the description of what's in the box for the iPad itself and then for the 10w USB Power Adapter accessory.....

The way I'm interpreting this is that the extension cord thingy will ONLY come with the separate accessory package, NOT in the box with the iPad.
