I remember you were already fine with the M1 weight, so it must be really nice the M4 13 for you...

Yeah, the heavier weight didn't put me off of it but the M4 13 is a tremendous improvement. I still have the 12.9 - my wife uses it full-time in the MKB - and the difference is really noticeable.

I am very tempted. but for now I am staying with my 12.9 M1. I am a multi-iPad person, so if I get the M4 I'll keep the M1, especially as I want a physical SIM for travelling (so I'd get the wifi version of the M4). Maybe I'll sell my 2018 12.9 which I use when my M1 is charging (but I want to get at least a few hundred bucks otherwise I prefer keeping it). But for now I am hesistant to shell $1300 on the base M4... just to have another larger iPad (but much more comfortable). At less than $1000 I would not hesitate, but it's a lot when I am already well equipped. But it's damn tempting... The issue with Apple is that contrary to Samsung iPads are rarely heavily discounted, and the M4 13 will probably never go under $1000 new (at least until the M5 is out...)

I was on the fence about upgrading but when I saw my wife really needing an upgrade from her Air 2, I asked her to try my 12.9 & MKB to see if she'd like using it. She did like it and I fell off that that fence ...

I passed my 12.9 2018 ipad to my senior mom who uses it for crosswords, and my dad was hanging on to what i think is 3rd or 4th gen ipad. He was trying to make a purchase just yesterday from a site and the screen stops scrolling and i get into this hissy fit when things are not working lol..so i said here take my m1 ipad 12.9 pro! It is heavy for him i admit and i was only using it for photo viewing and few apps but usually its not used much. Will check out the 11" m4 as i want something light for myself.
