So I had a Samsung S2 Nook and when a new update stopped my from watching my netlfix, hulu, moviesanywhere, etc, I decided to give it to my mom and go for a replacement. After doing the research I found out it comes down between the iPad (2018) and iPad Pro (10.5). I would use it for streaming mostly, word editing, and more education apps. There are tons of apps that are apple compatible over android. Then according to the buyer's guide on this site, it lists to not buy the Pro. Reason I am going with Apple is the fact that their products last the test of time. I still have and use my iPod Classic (80GB) to listen to music. Also was thinking of using the iPad to replace my old laptop. So in the opinion of everyone on this forum, what is the best iPad for a teacher long-term? I was raised to take care of my stuff for a long time. So this tablet will last me 5-8 years before it outlives it's usefulness. So which is the best long-term?
