iPad 2018 with glass back and wireless charging?

I really like the wireless charging on my Google Nexus, and then when it's trashy micro usb socket broke I was still able to charge it...but please no glass back like those idiots at Samsung put on their Tab S3 - and why? So it would break easily and they could sell more tablets?

I agree. NO glass backs on ipads....EVER!! Lol. Seriously. Too large a surface area to crack & shatter. If Apple truly wants to add wireless charging to ipads down the road, there are ways to do it without a full glass back. Perhaps a large plastic Apple logo cutout on the back? Who knows.

Considering most wireless charging mats would be completely overrun by my 12.9" iPad, I don't think this is something I'd personally be keen on in the near future. Is it possible they'll go this way? Of course. But I don't see it being on a 2018 model.

I’m pretty sure this will come crawling to the iPad line. That’s gonna look pretty good.

The weight alone will make this a no no. Expect a move to OLED eventually, maybe 2019-2021?

Screen ppi should be boosted to 401 from the current 264! Maybe add cellular 5G in 2019 model! OLED Super Pro version price from $1,999-$4,000 depend on size and features.

If you want wireless charging, you can get the Logi Base for the iPad Pros... There is no need for a glass back.
