Will be upgrading from an ipad air 3, and probably give it to my wife who likes using it for shopping online. Will miss the headphone jack, but i got a usb c headphone adaptor so shouldn't be a problem. Going for the boring silver 64gb air 4, and using a £150 voucher i got as a keyworker during lockdown, so will cost me about £430. Well deserved treat!

I sure hope that the Sept/Oct event announcements were an even split. It feels like the September even was a bit short and lacked any true "spectacular" announcements. (iPad, Air, Watch, Fitness). There's still a lot more to go.
Well, the iPhone event will be longer, for sure, because it is the big moneymaker for Apple. Apple didn't need the September event to have something spectacular. It was just about getting out the new products. And also, the October event will have a grouping of things that will have marketing sense. So we can expect iPhone, Airtags, Airpods, Mac OS Big Sur, and "One More Thing": Apple Silicon Mac. I don't know if AppleTV will make the cut.
