4 finger swipe up gesture is still a slow lag fest. Sometimes takes a full second to even register. All the little bugs I noticed in 8.0 are still present. Overall smoothness is decent.
Music app: portrait mode still has the repeat button obnoxiously close to the scrolling song title. Lock screen controls are still smashed together with almost no space between play button and volume slider.
Photos app: pinching in and out of albums using two fingers still has the black screen flicker.
Safari: keyboard is still a lag fest due to all the transparency on the keyboard which they decided to turn on in 7.1 and 8.0. JUST TURN THE F------- TRANSPARENCY OFF ON THE KEYBOARD APPLE!!!! Damnit! There should not be any keyboard lag anywhere. I wish we just had that option. I love the transparent effect everywhere but it's ABSOLUETELY NOT NEEDED on the keyboard.
Wallpapers: I don't know where to begin. Apple still can't get setting wallpapers right on an iPad and broke was wasn't broken in 7.0.x. Now whenever you set any wallpaper the new bug is that it won't prview the parallax effect even though it's turned on. That's gonna greatly confuse people when they think it's off when indeed it's actually on.
You know , I was happy when Apple took the polish off the graphical elements in iOS but I didnt know that meant taking the polish off the way the damn system works.
