Kind of annoyed it's not a universal app. It should be. $30 on the iPad + iPhone app is a little spendy. Now I have a tough choice to make.
I went ahead and only got it for the iPad. I figure I'll get more use out if it at home. I have XM in the car and can listen to game if I'm away.

Yeah but instead of just 100 apps I want to see al of them.. Somebody above me posted a link to all ipad apps. i just want free apps. Thanks sorry for any confusion

I will probably end up buying Sandstorm: Modern Combat for iPad only tomorrow just out of pure excitement. This is another plausible reason for the iPad price hikes as the developers know that the first wave of people are going to end up impulse/excitement buying their apps at the higher price.

I did that with the iPhone when the App Store first launched. That is NOT happening again. I am going to control myself. So far, the only iPad apps I've bought are Pages and Implode XL (I've been looking at it for a long time, it's universal, and it's a reasonable price for what it is - $1.99). Other than that, I am going to watch what I spend.

Some apps, though, probably won't have their prices changed but are also worth their price and are priced reasonably (i.e. Pages, Numbers, Keynote, PadNotes). Those I just decided I might as well get now.

LOL @ All the EA games that are 4.99 for iphone and 14.99 for ipad bunch of greedy turds. Sega has Monkeyball 4.99 for iphone and 14.99 for ipad too. 14.99 is too much for a game that only last a couple hours before you beat it...hope this doesn't become a trend.

I do agree. That's just greedy, as the EA apps (except maybe Scrabble and Mirror's Edge) are nothing but upscaled/improved graphics versions of the iPhone apps they have out now.

Same goes for Gameloft, but at least they're charging a more reasonable $6-9. $15 is just insane.

And look, the prices have already dropped to $13 on some EA apps. I bet the prices are tweaking until launch.

I am somewhat confused about the versions. I got PvZ, CODwZ, Nova, etc. PvZ HD has some exclusive mini-games for iPad, but does that make it worth 10 dollars? It should be 6.99, since we got the original game at 2.99. I practically finished the game. I got 1 acheivement left. CODwZ is that out yet? If it is simply improving the resolution, then it's universal and both have both iphone/ipad. iPad exclusives: I am interested in netflix, hulu, abc, wsj, national geographics, etc.

Looks pretty slick. I'd like to try it if you have a code to spare.

PM sent

I'd like to try that too. Does it have anything similar to a checkbook?

PM also sent. It isn't set up to be a checkbook exactly per se, although it does track spending in accounts as well as categories, and does support adding income items as well as expenses. The main thing that prevents it from being a good checkbook is that it doesn't really have a notion of running account balances; it just tells you how much you have spent each month. I do have ideas for a checkbook type app...I'm not sure at the moment if it should be its own app or if I can fit it in this one without muddling things up too much.

help! dumb question.

Anyway to see the App store with iPad applications only? Please post this and PM me. I can't figure it out.:mad:

Here's my iPad app:

Expense Tablet for iPad

I have promo codes for anyone who'd like to try it (for free, of course). Drop me a PM if you're interested.

While I like your app and respect the work you put into, I do recommend spending some more time on it. For instance I get more options and information using Mint, which is free, web and iPhone app. Take a day or two and play around with Mint, with a few tweaks and added options I think your app can be really good.
