Now I am seriously understanding why Apple won't accept cash, thanks to all the iPad buyers that bought it only to make a profit. No wonder there's a limit.
When I first got the iPad I kind of felt the same way. I really liked it, but I had a little buyers remorse. However, after using it for a few weeks, I started integrating it into my daily life. I now use it constantly for:
- taking meeting notes using Evernote. So nice not to have to undock my laptop to go into a quick meeting.
- syncing my tasks with Things. I was a Things user before, but this takes it to a whole new level. I am finding I use this app to track almost everything now
- iBooks. I have read two books on the iPad. It's the first two books I have read in the last few years. It's such a good experience. I love being able to download samples of the books first.
Everyday I appreciate it more and I'm glad I never gave up on it.

You might not have received the memo....but we live in a capitalistic society. That means capitalism rules 24/7, not just when it's convenient.
I have no problem whatsoever with someone purchasing and selling ipad as long as they do so within the confines of the law. Apple has the right to make money, and so does the average joe. Personally I don't have the patience or time to buy up ipads and sell them on e-bay, but if someone wants to make a quick buck doing that more power to them.
As for your comment about Apple not accepting cash. I read and know first hand of instances where Apple DID take cash...despite all the talk to the contrary. Lastly, even if the cash only policy was strictly enforced what percentage of the overall consumer base is making a $500+ purchase with cash? IMHO I would be willing to be the majority of consumers are using ATM/Debit and credit cards for these large discretionary transactions.
So if this Apple policy truly exist, it likely impacts a small percentage of overall ipad consumers. Every rule/policy a retailer implements will piss off or upset someone...the trick is to implement a policies that the majority of your consumers can/will accept. Given the exceptional sales of the ipad, I don't think the majority of ipad consumers are sweating Apple's cash only policy.
