iPad exterior question

Please explain more. My iPad is the same hight around the edges, and it doubles in hight as it goes toward the center... I don't think it would be thinker at the top

Like the bottom feels thicker then the top part

Or better yet, go to a Best Buy or Apple store with your electron microscope and see if their demo models look like yours. Case closed?
