not just dead pixel, dead line on screen

Got my 16Gb iPad saturday about noon, used it all day worked great.
Used it all day sunday to run the battery down, worked great.
Woke up this morning, grabbed my iPad to read news and i had a dim line about an inch above the home button. After about 30 min,it got much worse.
Waiting til the apple store opens at 10am to see how we can handle this.


Update : Apple replaced the iPad no questions asked, said it was the first one they had seen/heard of with a whole line dead.

Ughhh... Bummer.. I would think they should be able to swap it out with another 16gb Wifi... OR maybe if you really make a stink you could ask to upgrade to a higher gb model (I'm sure you'd have to pay) OR just return it and wait for the 3g.. Either way- that is just a bummer...

I have some dead pixels, there also looks like there is some a piece of dirt under the screen.

Gonna take it to apple next weekend.

There isn't a choice for: "The kid won't let anyone touch it for more than 2 minutes and so it's about impossible to know if i like it!"

I kidnapped it for a few HOURS today - but had other stuff to do and didn't get to use it for more than 15 minutes

Hurry up 3G!
