I know they used to give out goody bags of software and hardware, and even iPods at new store openings, but I don't know if they do anything like this for product launches.

I was at the 1st and second iPhone release party in lakeside Thurrock and we were given goodie bags with bits and bobs in. The second launch went sideways as o2's servers went down so everyone was given coffee tea oj and muffins.

I asked about the IPAD in the Highcross store in Leicester today. The guy said they don't know anything about the launch or when the 3g one would arrive in the UK.

Just to register interest on the web site.

Have you noticed the amount of kids they have working in the shop. The lad I spoke to today did not even know what a network cable was :rolleyes::rolleyes: Its always packed with people just looking.
