Any confirm the 3GB RAM spec for both the new mini and air? The test result MacRumors reported on wasn’t clear yet about the exact model tested.

iPad 11,2 is the new Mini at 2.86 GB of available RAM. Watch iMore’s video review.
Didn’t spot the 2.86 available figure in the video or comments but 3GB total confirmation’s enough for me.

Also the Touch ID gen 2, not that I ever doubted!

Sorry, 2.84 GB.

So many reviews, but none of them mention if either tablet supports USB 3. They mention no USB-C but the iPad can support USB 3, if it has a controller like on iPad Pros.

Is the body/button/ports on the new mini identical to the old Mini? In other words, can I buy a case off of Amazon for the most recent Mini and expect it to work on this new one? Thanks.

The volume buttons are larger and the mic is in a different place on the new iPad mini.

The PC Mag review mentions that an ipad pro with 120 hz refresh rate and the second version of the pencil has less writing lag.

Is this a joke? That "review" consist of 1.5 paragraph and a few bullet points.
You don't consider 'Good Housekeeping' to be the definitive source for technology reviews?

It's strange how few reviews there have been for the Air 3 so far. Apparently, The Verge will release theirs next week.

The 9.7”+ iPads have all been updated on a very regular cadence, and the iPad Air 3 is really just an iPad Pro 10.5” with a better processor minus ProMotion and a few other features, albeit at a more budget friendly price point.

The iPad Mini update is the only really newsworthy update, because it hasn’t been updated in nearly 4 years....

Personally I have no interest in the iPad Air 3 as I already own the iPad Pros 11” and 12.9”. I have been waiting far too long for an updated iPad Mini though.

My reason to get the iPad Air (256gb) is because of lack of storage on mp IPP 12.9 (32gb). My IPP is working fine, but i’m Regularly offloading apps and have optimised photos.

I don’t need pro, I use the pencil a lot in work, and this suits the middle ground I was after.

Wasn't the Air officially released yesterday? And still only 2 reviews? Weird. Was hoping to find out if the chassis vibrates like crazy like the old Air 2 did when the volume was at anything above 5 clicks.

I don’t think either of the new tablets are actually out yet.

Also, the one actual review (Techradar) mentions they put the iPad in low power mode to increase battery life. I love that feature on my iPhone, but I dont recall that being an option on my 2017 iPad. Did they add that feature to iPads recently?
