iPad mini 6 + iOS 16 connected by cable, to an external display

Hello to all. Developers testing the upcoming iOS, on the mini 6:

When using iOS 16; does the mini shows an extended display, on the monitor screen or is the same "old" square, with the black bars? Does an application will occupy all the monitor screen 1080p/4k?
My question is about «Extended Display», not «Stage Manager».

unfortunately, it's still the old style. No full screen

That feature is currently exclusive to M1 iPads.
