Purple. If the blue is anything like on the iPad Air M2, it looks way better on photos than in real life.
I like purple, but the blue Air M2 looks less dull than the purple Air M2. The purple looks almost silver under some lighting, such as the sun. Actually, so does the blue.

My wife has the purple, and my daughter has the blue.

I generally like purple more, so will probably opt for purple. I’m just hoping it’s not the same as the Air M2.

I'm going with the "starlight." My mother always drove "champagne" cars, so I've got a fondness for that color.

Come to think of it, my last bicycle was champagne too… wish I hadn't ducked up the seatpost on that thing…

Blue with denim cover for me, just for a change.

Apple’s colour palette really sucks across the board.

Wanted to jump in, and say I decided to order starlight with sage colored folio :)
The blue was tempting because it’s the newest color, but I’ve always liked green and beige tones, and I think I can use a wider range of wallpapers with this combo than with blue. I’m surprised to see the drop of popularity for the purple, it was THE color last time around.

I would get purple if I was upgrading. I expect though that I will find the darker Mini 6 shade the better one, and perhaps that is why users are gravitating away from it.

I’m not surprised at the figures for blue - for those wanted that colour, it’s the first opportunity to get it, whereas the Air has had blue in some form for three generations. It was bizarre that they pink and purple for the Mini 6, and not even a mid cycle blue to match the Air 5. With no blue, those wanting a colour that wasn’t neutral probably went purple.

The blue and purple look like the same ones used for the new iPad Air M2. I bought the purple for my wife, and the blue for my daughter, and I think the blue is MUCH nicer, despite me really wanting a purple iPad.

The purple looks silver in many lighting situations. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Right now, I’ll probably still get the purple Mini 7, but with the plum (dark purple) Mini 6 Folio.

My 2nd choice is a starlight Mini 7 with the “Electric Orange” Folio (again, Mini 6).

I’m still back and forth on whether or not I’d get one. I’d really like starlight or purple, but most of my other Apple products are space grey, so I’ll probably go with that color.

my soon-to-be mini will match my 15 pro max natural titanium, but that’s not on purpose. If anything, I’m never going to force myself buying a color just to have cohesive looking tech. i tried doing that last year by getting a silver mba, but the aluminum was too reflective in direct light, and it strained my eyes. I was so bitter, so I returned it and repurchased it again in space grey. I also prefer a laptop to have a darker color palette, and smaller devices to be either white or colorful. Only thing I’m trying to keep cohesive is the furnitures in my home

Color means little to me. Especially with having a clear case on it. And also especially how dull and subdued the Mini 6 and 7 colors are. I have the Purple Mini 6 and it looks so dull, almost silver-looking. So with Mini 7, I’ll get Starlight. Had Space Gray iPads for way too long.
