Ipad or Ipad 2?

Ask yourself these questions:
1) Do you need it now? (for college / uni) if yes - buy it! - see second to last paragraph.
2) Would you use "FaceTime"? - Apple will probably put a front facing camera in iPad 2. AKA Do I know anyone with an iPhone 4 that you'll video call.
3) Will you use the gyro / is it a feature that could make you wait for iPad 2?
4) If - and that's a big if - the iPad 2 gets an rear facing camera - will I use it? - I know I would 720p video recording + iMove + 9.7 screen = pure magic.
5) Go test the iPad - Does the Safari refreshing issue annoy you? You can enable virtual memory by jailbreaking - then next iPad may have up to 1gb but you can expect 512mb.
Need it now - buy it now - I had mine a week - now I miss it and I find browsing, checking mail, gaming on my iTouch not as magical. Yep, it really is magical - browsing is just beautiful, pinching and zooming in and out of web pages is brilliant; mail it so fantastic - it loads in miliseconds, videos look beautiful especially those in HD.
Need a feature that has a high chance of happening in iPad 2 - then wait.
Be warned if you choose to wait don't expect any iPad 2 RELEASE untill March - April or September 2011 - then the iPad won't ship with an IOS that will be updated in a few months and then we don't have to wait - like now - for an iOS update.

To the OP, the reason why people get so angry at duplicate threads is that they uneccessarily clutter up the forum, often pushing threads with genuinely unique content into oblivion. If it were your thread asking for urgent help on a technical matter that was bumped onto the next page (where it will never be noticed), then you'd be pissed at the dorks who didn't bother to notice that there were 15 threads on the very same topic already there, and instead created yet another duplicate.
I wish the mods would create a sticky for iOS4 and iPad 2 posts, and then start closing off all the duplicates.

It's pure speculation based on unnamed sources. That's even less substance than a rumour.
