Yes, I just noticed that.

So, that was as of just two weeks ago. However, does that include the 2017 iPad Pros?
No, not according to the article I linked to above, although that was just a beta version of iOS, or the Logitech website which says the Crayon is compatible with all iPads from 2018 onwards -
https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/grab-a-crayon?crid=1830#specification-tabular

Compatible devices are shown as -
iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd gen)
iPad Pro 11-inch
iPad (6th gen)
iPad Air (3rd gen)
iPad mini (5th gen)

Thanks. I guess the Canadian site hasn't been updated yet. It still makes no mention of the Pros for Crayon, but it does include the Air and mini.

I’ve been using a Zugu case since the beginning, so I presume the material of the case between the pencil and the charging port will prevent scuffs. However, I just got the Logitech slim keyboard folio (typing on it), and it has the full pencil area exposed on the device. I ordered a silicon pencil case linked in this thread since I don’t want to have the scuffage down the road.

So having a Pencil Cover on the Pencil Does it not scuff ?

Well I don’t think we can be certain until some time passes, but generally any barrier including the tape suggested reduces the friction of two surfaces enough to prevent scuffs and hopefully peeling of the space gray surface (in my case).

To me if it's a concern cover the item you're trying to protect (i.e. the clear tape suggestion), not the item contributing to the abrasion.

I don't own a 2018 IPP but I would imagine just like the older Smart Covers/Keyboards magnets are used to hold the pencil in place so it would be conceivable that microscopic particles attracted to the magnets would contribute to abrasion if they are hard enough.

Use a Zugu Muse case and problem solved. There is a thin layer of leather between the pencil and iPad, but the pencil still attaches and charges.
