Wow, this is better than my school discount, which was already pretty large. Thank you for posting. Just might have to pull the trigger.

Oh **** guys - this means new iPads are on the way..

Lol. Yup. Seriously tho, new ipads are ALWAYS on the way. But realistically, new ipad pros won't be coming until next year. In the spring/ summer. From what rumors are saying, they will be getting a radical redesign. Perhaps OLED screens and a bezel-less form factor like the iphone 8. But who knows. If you can wait that long, go for it. The only chance of new ipads this year, is the long shot of a mini pro being announced during the iphone/ios event. But thats a looooong shot.

That's my only hold back that a mini pro will be announced and I prefer that over the 10.5. Bestbuy return policy is 14 days and the event is likely on the 12th so not sure what to do

Yeah, me too. I haven't bought the 10.5" yet. Gonna wait for the iphone event. If a mini pro isn't released, i will definitely nab the 10.5" as i really want to use the apple pencil. If Apple does release a mini pro next year with the other redesigned ipads, i can always sell the 10.5" and nab the mini pro then. Or not. Can't wait forever tho. Gotta be productive.

Got this price matched at Target..bought the 256GB Rose Gold 10.5 wifi one..used the target registry(They applied it even though its not supposed to be used for electronics) plus the 5 percent red card..today gave them the link to the best buy page, instead of crediting me 50 bucks the lady in online chat credited me 87.15 so total 511 and change..already sold my iPad 9.7 inch last week for 450 so basically spent 60 bucks on a brand new ipad..now just need to find the keyboard case on sale 159 is too much to spend on a case

Great deals. This is like the 3rd or 4th iPad sale Best Buy has done over the last month plus. Seems like iPad sales are in heavy rotation right now for some reason.

Good time to grab one.

I may pick up the 256 GB. I wonder how people feel knowing that the iPad is being discounted so fast after some people on this thread purchased theirs when it was first released.

I have been using and enjoying mine since release day. Since I don't spend money on take out coffee or movies or fancy clothes or shoes, I'm okay with spending a little extra. I can understand why a lot of people don't feel that way, though, and I usually wait for things to go on sale before purchasing. Did that with the iPP 9.7 last year and the iP Mini 4 recently. Enjoy using all three of my iPads.

Was just at the local bestbuy to play around with the pro and still couldn't pull the trigger based on the size. Still feel that the mini is the perfect size for me and really hope it will be announced in few weeks, but know it's a long shot. If it doesn't I'll consider the pro though

It's probably because they aren't moving that many, BB did the same thing last year with the iPad Pro, i got Apple to price match.

I think I am gonna do a cc price adjustment

I doubt it'll get any lower sales wise in the next month for a new product.

I'm calling Discover in the morning to do a Price Protection price match. You get 90 days to do it with Discover it card. That and the fact you get 5% rebate if you bought it via their online shopping portal through Apple.com and free beatsX headphones to boot! Thanks BB!

It seems like the norm for Apple products of late since the iPad Air/Air 2. That said, I prefer to have the utility of the new model over $100 savings. Besides LTE models don't go on sale as often as Wi-Fi particularly if you're picky about color.
