Brand new iPad Pro 11, day 5 or 6 of use, I picked up my iPad (I am using a dark background) and noticed a flash of light on the screen. It is very noticeable in person but it may be hard to see in the video. This issue occurs above the USB-C connector, above the bottom of the screen around 1" or so. Does this happen to anyone else?

Still photo attached to this thread.

Are you holding the device or anything exerting pressure on the rear? Looks like some lcd screen flex exposing the backlight in that video.

I was just picking it up from the table, do you see anything like this if you have an 11?

I mentioned this in another thread, it happens when applying pressure to the screen around that section? I’m having it on the bottom left of the screen and am considering exchanging it.

This is with very little pressure:

This is with light to light medium pressure:

I would swap that out. Would be useless for editing fine details in images for example.

I returned mine my first one was creaking the second one has this problem I think I will be sitting this one out.

I get a little of that when I lift the pencil from the screen after putting moderat/heavy pressure on that screen, but never notice it when I touch the screen lightly. This is anywhere on the screen by the way.

Because I don’t see it when I lightly touch the screen, it’s not a big deal for me personally.

Where I saw it , was bottom right corner area. Your right in that I only saw it when I went looking for it. With regular use I don’t see it. Keeping mine.

I just tested a couple of the new iPads instore and they all exhibited this issue. It doesn’t show on any of the previous iPads and IMHO is a major, major issue. It all depends how sensitive you are to it but once seen cannot be unseen. I returned mine and will wait this version out. Thank goodness I didn’t sell my 10.5.

Was just cleaning my screen and noticed the same issue. Very light preassure like a keyboard tap can cause it...

I will be calling apple in the morning as it’s only 3 days old

Mine happens under medium to hard pressure on the lower left, also not under regular use.
Someone remarked this is exhibiting on all the new iPads, but it doesn't bother me. Will be keeping mine as well.

Had mine into apple Belfast this afternoon , seen a lovely pink haired lady.

She compared mine to there's in store and even another staff member that has the iPad pro 11inch , all did exactly the same if pressed in the same place.

So I've 2 options

1. Learning too draw and type very lightly

Or

2. Return it

As getting it swapped out would have me having same issue

This new issue is making me even more nervous now that I bought one over the weekend. Between the delicate metal, downgraded camera, same size hard drive, and price increase, I am starting to regret my decision.

I've whipped out a stylus and this helps lol

The iPad it's self is amazing tho

Least I've this issue logged with apple so if it does get worse over time I can cast back too it being reported

Uh, I’ve noticed this kind of issue on my iPads since the Air 2, even my daughters iPad mini 4 does the same thing.
