The drives I'm referring to are USB 3.0 and are thicker than your average 2.5" SATA HDD (15mm instead of 9.5mm).That will be about 150 SGD per drive, which is really cheap for 4 TB drives! Maybe I should consider them as my ultra-portable backup, get those multiple drive enclosure or something
I don't believe you can buy the raw SATA drives or if you can, I think they cost a lot more. The WD 4TB have the USB interface soldered directly to the drive. The Seagate ones might actually be SATA inside the enclosure. I've never tried taking the Seagate apart.

Except when one has crappy internet right when one actually wants/needs it most. Which happens to me a lot on vacations or road trips.I'll eventually delete comics once I've read them (they're so easy to re-download at a moments notice.)
Heck, even at home when there's a power outage so there's no other source of entertainment (not even the Plex server) except mobile electronics.
