I dont see the bezels go away in a long time. Actually I like the look and feel of the current ipad & iphone bezels. It makes the device look and feel more solid. My current wishlist for the upcoming ipads;

-10.5" or bigger OLED screens (with truetone ofcourse)
-3D touch/new iphone 7 style homebutton.
-Huge performance improvement. Atleast 6GB RAM.
-light as possible
-perhaps a wireless charging

I believe my air2 is holding great until i see atleast most of these things happening. I know its not going to be next year but perhaps 2018 or 2019.
I will upgrade to Pro 2 12.9 inch
12.9 Pro 32GB
Which color should I choose?
black with Smart Keyboard it'll look so nice especially if that bezzeless display rumor pans out

I am not going to choose Silver . I already have a Silver Air 2.
Maybe gold? But isn't gold strange for man ?

rose gold Pro would be nice . However I do prefer gold

According to my own calculation if apple end up bringing the larger pro's resolution to the new 10.5 (10.45 to be precise) form factor then we're looking at the same ppi as the mini and iPhone @ 326.

Seeing as apple usually likes to keep within standard values I've got a pretty good feeling this is what is going to get announced.

Nah I'd expect them to keep cost low and just use standard res to get the 264ppi or whatever it is.

we will see but I'm pretty confident they will do as I predicted because they won't introduce another resolution option for developers to fiddle with and if they kept the 'standard' resolution then the ppi will take a hit and I can't see them doing that.

It does seem abit of a stretch though getting that amount of pixels on that size of a screen but this is apple and it wouldn't be surprising tbh.

Besides a slightly bigger and sharper screen will be nice for reading and the Apple Pencil.

My wife was FaceTime'ing my parents while my daughter was in the tub. She dropped her iPad mini in the tub.

My iPad was laying on the sofa table and my daughter knocked over a glass of water and soaked my iPad.

Are you seeing a theme here (besides my daughter being a house monster)? A little waterproofing would go a long way for a device like this.
If you have kids you should get LifeProof cases for every device in your inventory. It's just wise. Unless you are looking for an excuse to update your devices before they die of natural causes.

Where are you getting 10.5" from? The MR story said 10.9".

The 10.9 is the newest rumour, there was also a rumour of a 10.1.

I think 10.5 seems the most logical given the dimensions of the ipad pro,i don't see them removing the home button and that will be impossible with a 10.9 screen.

If you look at Apples macbooks or ipads and iphone (non plus versions) they have purposely designed the screens to be within the same Amount of pixels per inch, the ipad pro 12.9 having the same ppi as the Air for example and the ipad mini having the same ppi as the iphone, the iphone 6/s/7 also were giving a resolution boost to match the earlier models (ignoring the plus models).

Based on this overwhelming evidence there is a very high change the '17 pro is going to come in at 10.5" with the larger pro's resolution of 2732x2048 for a mini/iphone matching ppi of 326.
