its coming, maybe its not ready to in the stores in April but its coming. WWDC that is in June is Software 100%. They dont have time to present 4 OS +2 ipads+macs

ITS COMING. I hope today or tomorrow around 10AM pacific time to see some invites

We will see i just don't think people should get their hopes up. I hope your right tho i would love to see new iPad Pro's and Mac's announced i just doubt Apple are going to do it in April, i think September or October.

You guys dont seem to understand... the iPad cant be released in the fall without major consequences to Apple stock. The new iPad pro has the A10X chip and the iPhone 7s/8 has a faster A11 chip. It would make apple incompetent while wasting money. Tim Cook will do anything to keep the stock growing.

Now it's too soon. Besides, you can still buy the 32GB 12.9inch iPad Pro at the same price you did 1.5 years ago (the 256GB is still too expensive or difficult to find) so that you are forced to store everything on the cloud. It's a win scenario for everyone: NSA, CIA, Apple, telecom service providers.

Or maybe we just need to wait 5-6 months. The world will be buzzing again for the imminent coming of iPad Pro 2. Then Apple will introduce a cheap iPad Mini with 8GB storage based on the A6 CPU and a thinner iPad Pro with no home button and no headphone jack. And a green iPhone.

We don't know what chip they will put into the new iPad Pro's they could put the same chip into it. Invites haven't gone out and April is just around the corner so I don't see there being an event. it's likely to be in September or October.

That's some serious FLAWED reasoning on your part.

I reckon the iPad Pro will be updated relatively soon as the 12.9" has a 1-2 week wait - for all colours and storage configurations - for shipping in the UK. Even in-store pickup is unavailable in a large amount of stores nearby where I live, with them next having stock in on the 11th April. Seems odd if they weren't trying to run down stock before a refresh of the product.

Unfortunately, I think this has been true since February.

A.

Has it? Never knew about that.

Well there's either been a production issue or stock is very slow to deplete. Doubt both of them tbh. Maybe Apple have just slowed production due to lack of sales? Even then, you'd think they'd still want to be able to sell to customers who want the product.

The first time I personally checked was February 17th and at that time the in-store pickup date was March 17. The reason that I checked was because I read an article or two about it earlier in the month and finally got around to seeing for myself.

So with varying lead times it has been going on for a while now. Not sure that it tells us anything at this point.

I'm hoping you're right sparky. I noticed the lead time too and am thinking along the same lines as you. I'm really itching for a 12.9 too. Hopefully we will see them in April.

SJ theater is too small for iPhone event, so no way...

No it isn't the Steve Jobs theatre will be able to seat 1000 people, it will be used exactly for the purposes of Apple events. There probably won't be a April event and WWDC is being held else where so the first event will probably be the September one, also with it being the 10th year of the iPhone it makes sense to hold the September iPhone event at the Steve Jobs theatre.

Again, 1000 people auditorium is too small for iPhone event...

Apple holds iphone event in Bell Graham Civic Auditorium, go check out its capacity and then come back to discuss...

They don't always hold the event there for a start, also once the Steve Jobs theatre is ready it will be used for most of Apple's events.

For most, but not for the iPhone event.. and not for wwdc..
