Ordered: 4/22
Expected Arrival: 5/6
Shipped and UPS says 5/4

Same here. Is yours currently in Chek Lap Kok? Mine has been there for over a day now. I was hoping the 4th would end up being correct but I think Apple might have known UPS better than they did themselves.

I’ve ordered from Amazon because they allow you to get things delivered to a locker where you can pick it up as I won’t be home to receive a delivery because of work So didn’t order from Apple but it’s currently OOS so no idea when they are going to get some stock.

In Transit04/30/202012:33 A.M.Chek Lap Kok, Hong KongArrival Scan

Hopefully it ends up on the MD11 that UPS is flying from Anchorage to Hong Kong right now. There is about 9 hours remaining on their flight to HKG, so we will see tomorrow if that is the right flight.

There is also a 747 that is 5 hours out that it could end up getting on. UPS does offer flights from HKG to Hawaii then to California however I doubt our iPads would go on that route (Another 747 on its way to HKG).

Yep, that's the same time and location of my last scan. I saw a flight from HK to Anchorage earlier that I was hoping they would be on but it seems that wasn't the case. Fingers crossed they make their move stateside tonight like you've mentioned is possible.

If you are expecting an iPad soon, read this

Got my 2020 iPad Pro last week with some delays but all went good in the end even if it slept in a local warehouse for 4 days 30 mins from home. Got my Pencil 2nd Gen today and now awaiting my AirPods Pro... But ..

Look at the AirPods tracking route !!!!!

I understand that for the same day, and due to time zone, there might be some tracking sort that get mixed up but this ??!!?? Taiwan-Dubai-Anchorage-Germany-Louisville-Taiwan-Anchorage !!??! When I saw it stand still in Louisville for the weekend I was happy but now ? They still have the delivery date schedule for Wednesday the 29. But I'm not sure anymore !! What's next Moscow ??!! BTW, I live in Canada, a country that has yet to be visit by the package !

I’d put money on them having arrived in Taiwan on the Friday 24 and sat there over the weekend. Many departure/arrival scans are not actually scans but automated entries... and this seems to have gone majorly wrong. Not least because, assuming the times are in local time, it allegedly arrived in Dubai 13 minutes after leaving Taiwan on the 24th.

My iPad left HKG approximately 2 hours ago at 4:26 pm hong kong time. It most likely took them about 2 hours to finish loading the iPad, taxi out and take off.... as UPS67 took off about 20 minutes ago and it is nearly 7 pm now (7 am east us time). As UPS 67 was the only flight in the area I am willing to bet that our iPads are on this flight. The only other one nearby is between Alaska/Russia and flying to HKG..... so I would expect a status update in about 12 hours (Flight has 9 hours remaining in the flight plan however expect time to taxi, park, and unload. Maybe ours were first on as it took a while between takeoff and departure scan.

Yeah, also seeing a departure scan at 4:26. This is great news! I was worried they wouldn't move and we'd get pushed back like some other people have. I'm still questioning if mine will really arrive in Florida on Monday like UPS is saying instead of the 6th like Apple is saying.

I'm also seeing that if that's indeed that plane, it's leaving Anchorage at 2:57 PM today and arriving in Louisville at around midnight on Saturday. Does UPS move around parcels at all over the weekend?

The only time a UPS vehicle is not moving is the big brown delivery trucks on Sundays in some markets. The backbone groups like airplanes or freight trucks do their magic 24/7 only stopping when it is legally required (mandatory driving/flying limits).

Fedex works the same however their website doesn't work right and apparently support is useless. They keep passing the blame to others and never call back (I am on about month 10 of waiting for a callback when they said they would call back within 24-48 hours).

Does yours now say that they arrived in Taiwan? I checked the flight info of UPS61 and it is indeed the same flight, but no stop in Taiwan was mentioned before. The flight has since left Taiwan about half an hour ago but i have no departure scan.

In Transit05/01/20205:37 P.M.Taoyuan, TaiwanArrival Scan

Looks like that matches with UPS61 and our iPads are not on UPS67. No scheduled departures for any UPS flight shown on https://flightaware.com/live/airport/RCTP . However I would expect it to be here Monday still.

Edit: I saw UPS61 took off at 8:19 to Anchorage and will land in about 6.5 hours. I do wonder if the iPads are still on the airplane and it was just a short hop to add more cargo and the UPS site is just delayed. Either way we will find out tomorrow.

I saw that as well. Fingers crossed, especially since - as you said - there are no scheduled flights leaving Taiwan for Anchorage. Then again, UPS61 also made no mention of stopping in Taiwan when I checked its flight plan. If we're not still on UPS61, maybe something else will drop by there at some point today.

Edit: Aaaand we've left Taiwan as of about 45 minutes ago. Not seeing a 9:44 UPS departure from Taiwan (except for a 9:43 departure that looks like it's a UAE flight so hopefully that's not the one...), so I'm betting it was just a lagged departure scan or something and we are on UPS61.

Did you have to sign for your package? I'm also in Canada and waiting for my iPad Pro!
Yes, it said to sign but it is also a "no contact" delivery, so basically they are leaving the package at the door only if they confirm there is someone home to get it

Hmm...
My Apple Pencil 2 says no signature required. My iPad Pro says signature required. 🤔
Same here. the pencil was left in my "community" mailbox at the corner of the street

Sort of... the funny part is that if I follow the tracking, after spending some times in the US, in went to Germany, came back in the US, went to Taiwan, US again, HK, US again and than Canada !!

So it was either travelling the world or the fact that handheld scanners were emptying their data in the system with delays ... while package was relaxing in different warehouses

Now I am waiting for a HomePod, let's see where this one will go

Damn, looking at your tracking has made me paranoid about my own. The flight mine is on right now left at 9:34 and the only flight leaving Taiwan at 9:33 was a UAE flight with no listed destination or departure time. I thought that had to be a coincidence but this makes me wonder if mine is going to turn up in Dubai in a few hours...

UAE367 is an Emirates flight that usually goes from Taiwan to Dubai. It would not be on this flight as Emirates is a private carrier like American Airlines, Southwest, Delta, or British Airways. UPS packages would be in a freight airplane and 99.9% of the time be on an established UPS route using the UPS callsign.

I'm just being paranoid because no flights left close to 9:44 from Taiwan other than this one at 9:43. I know it's almost impossible it got mistakenly put on the flight since it's not a UPS flight.
