Did your estimated delivery date move to the 27th now? I’m not sure if it is a glitch or what, because this happened yesterday when it changed to the 26th for awhile.
Yes, now it started showing 27th May for me as well. I just had a chat with Apple. Their guaranteed delivery is 26th May and they assured it will be delivered 26th or even before. Frankly, given that it is Memorial weekend I don't see a possibility to get it before 26th now. I have to teach an online class on 26th and would have really hoped to have my iPad for it. It seems like it is not possible now.

Yeah, I’m frustrated at this point, but I do understand given the situation. I just really thought it would come tomorrow given that it was cleared by customs yesterday. Only hope for tomorrow now is if the tracking is behind on updating and it’s actually on its way to anchorage.

I agree. And given that this happened with my pencil delivery I can still hope for a delivery tomorrow or Saturday.

Yes me too. 12:26 AM. But now the delivery date still says May 27

I'm in the same batch, mine said yesterday after clearing that it would arrive tomorrow (I'm in southern Ontario) but then this morning I saw that both my pencil and iPad had transferred to a third party broker or whatever, and now there was no promised delivery date. My pencil was already in Canada however, and like 40 minutes later it updated to say out for delivery and I ended up getting it around 1 pm, my iPad however was still in Incheon, Korea.

It registered a departure scan on 22nd May 2020 local time at 12:26 AM, and so while I thought that this meant it was now waiting for a flight (there's one leaving in a little over an hour as of my writing this), out of curiosity I googled and according to UPS it seems as if departure scans mean that your item is now moving i.e. it is on a plane/truck/train/whatever.

Curious was that it seems as if the date for when my iPad was cleared was EST (6:16 am this morning), in which case it would have been about 5 pm in Korea at the time. It would make sense that my device then had to wait until midnight for a flight, being scanned before departure.

Point being that hopefully this means that our devices are in the air as we speak, landing in Alaska in the next couple hours. All those flights continue on to Louisville from there, and while I don't have any real reason to believe that delivery tomorrow will happen, my pen went from Louisville (after staying there for one day) to the final facility near my town overnight. It is definitely feasible for delivery to happen by end of day tomorrow, and given that UPS has begun operating 7 days a week I definitely don't see why they won't be delivered before the Memorial Day holiday.

Check your tracking again, our batch just arrived in anchorage about a hour ago! They should be on to Louisville within the next couple hours.

Amazing haha, I saw just now that it landed at 12:32 local time :D So if our flight was flight UPS 99, it will arrive in Kentucky a little before 1 AM EST. Apparently the unloading, routing and reloading process at Louisville takes 45 minutes start to finish (at least it did back in 2012), and they do much of the loading between 10 pm and 2 am. I'm definitely reading way too much into how the process works but hey it's fun when your package is actually moving!

Anyways I see that there's a flight leaving Louisville for Buffalo (that's the route my pencil took) at 4 am, maybe there's a backlog which means that my iPad won't make it onto that flight, but fingers crossed! Really hoping that delivery tomorrow or even saturday is possible :) Hopefully 48 hours from now we are all enjoying the new toy!!

That flight was scheduled to continue on toward Louisville (it took off minutes ago I think), yet I don't see a departure scan. Do you think that it is a delay in the system, because the departure scan from Korea took place when that flight had already taken off (flight took off 10:30 pm or so and the scan was after midnight while it was en route). Here's hoping they're on the way to Kentucky as I write this, bc that's the last UPS plane going there today.

My order just updated saying they were unable to load my package on the plane and has been rescheduled for Thursday 5/28. Laaaame.

My ipad delivery estimate journey so far; 5/22; unknown; 5/26; 5/27; 5/28

Mine is in Alaska, still says 5/27

I got a departure scan. On to Louisville :)

Mine still shows they missed the plane, but now it says departure scan... still says the 5/28 delivery date tho.

Looks like my scans match up too hopefully there will be a corresponding flight from Louisville to Dulles as well. Fingers crossed for a Friday delivery!

Mine for some reason got stuck in ZhengZhou for three days. As of now, it's just arrived in Korea (05/21/2020 at 8.38 PM). Seems like I won't get anything until the end of next week, which pretty much has been a month since I ordered the item. This whole process is so frustrating.

Let’s hope it really does. Wonder why UPS shows rescheduled delivery 05/27. Do you have the same date?
I do have the same date right now, but I have a feeling it is going to change. It has been doing that the whole time it’s been in transit for me, and it appears other people in this thread have had similar things happen.

That's strange .. It is already 5/22 in Korea, maybe your scans are delayed and it's actually moved more than its showing. Either way, you're correct in saying this whole process is frustrating! Our scans were seemingly the same up until now, why would that change?

I think I’m in the same batch as you. This is so annoying. I know things are strange around the world, but overcommiting the delivery date and messing it up is just sad!
