I’d imagine it would be 10am. I’m thinking they would want to get all the other products out as well, so that could delay it a couple more weeks based on the amount of AirPower rumors we’ve been hearing today.

Fairly certain any press release will be a Tuesday though, makes sense to generate a bit of hype before the launch on a Friday.

The iPad Pro is still marked as "New" on Apple.com. Won't receive a update in a long time.

Are you being serious? o_O

Dear all,
Has anybody any idea about which day the new version of the IPAD in planned to be announced?

Thanks

we don't know. a lot of folks will try to guess when and what but that's all it is, guesses.

at this point the only time we know Timmy and Friends are going to say something about something is the first week of June when they have WWDC. But we don't know what hardware, if any, they might talk about. they may only talk about MacOS etc which is what the conference is all about.

so given the lack of information, we might hear something at WWDC, we might not, we might hear something tomorrow, we might not. we might hear something in Sept, we might not

if you need or desire an iPad and the ones out now fit that, then buy it.

that means nothing.

Just means it's the current iPad out. Nothing more.
I agree that it probably means nothing. OTOH, they don't put it under all the latest models, it's not under the regular iPad and any other Mac except the iMac Pro even though they all are the current iPad/MB/MBP/iMac/Mac Mini/Mac Pro out.

It refers to the most recently launched device(s) in the family (Mac, iPad, iPhone). It doesn't refer to the "current" iPad because every product listed is a current product.

For example, iPhone 7 received the "New" designation up until the day of the iPhone 8 and X event.

I don't know what you guys are on about. Clearly he's right - this is what the Apple site looks like when I go to it...

It's obvious the Pro isn't going to be updated for a long time

I remember hearing a report about apple talking internally about how they want to incorporate faceid into everything as fast as possible. So my guess? All new iPads with faceid in June just like the rumors are saying

Only thing up in the air at this point is sizing and whether we’ll see another price increase
