doing both isnt really smart though…if the device get wiped after 10 wrong codes it will set back the "find my pad" option too and you are not able to locate your ipad anymore
 
Thanks for the replies guys. Unfortunately I don't use mobile me. And I didn't even know there was a pin feature.

I did leave my car unlocked and that's my fault. I will report it to the police and look into the surveilance tapes, thanks to person who suggested that.

I'm pissed but not devestated. At least it's only $500 and not $5000. When I get a replacement it's not seeing the light of day.

While I am sorry that you had it nicked, it could have been worse. Just think of the pleasure you'll get opening the box for the first time again!

My sons car got written off when some thieves broke into the car to steal the car stereo. The radio was probably worth £20, far less to the person that it was probably sold on to.
